The Power of the Gospel For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

For just as in one body we have many members, and not all the members serve the same function,

Different Members in One Body For just as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body– though many– are one body, so too is Christ.

Final Challenge and Blessing Stay alert, stand firm in the faith, show courage, be strong.

Through the evidence of this service they will glorify God because of your obedience to your confession in the gospel of Christ and the generosity of your sharing with them and with everyone.

not that there really is another gospel, but there are some who are disturbing you and wanting to distort the gospel of Christ.

Prayer for Wisdom and Revelation For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,

Condemnation of the False Teachers Dear friends, although I have been eager to write to you about our common salvation, I now feel compelled instead to write to encourage you to contend earnestly for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints.
