And on that day were men appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the heave-offerings, for the first-fruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them, according to the fields of the cities, the portions appointed by the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited.
had prepared for him a great chamber, where aforetime they laid the meal-offerings, the frankincense, and the vessels, and the tithes of the grain, the new wine, and the oil, which were given by commandment to the Levites, and the singers, and the porters; and the heave-offerings for the priests.
Trust in Jehovah, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on [his] faithfulness.
Honor Jehovah with thy substance, And with the first-fruits of all thine increase:
And the first of all the first-fruits of every thing, and every oblation of everything, of all your oblations, shall be for the priest: ye shall also give unto the priests the first of your [ dough, to cause a blessing to rest on thy house.
But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
But this [I say], He that soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he that soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
