Let them be put to shame^H954 and confounded^H954 together^H3162 That seek^H1245 after my soul^H5315 to destroy^H5595 it: Let them be turned^H5472 backward^H268 and brought to dishonor^H3637 That delight^H2655 in my hurt.^H7451

therefore thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah,^H3069 Behold, I lay^H3245 in Zion^H6726 for a foundation a stone,^H68 a tried^H976 stone,^H68 a precious^H3368 [corner-]^H6438 [stone] of sure^H3245 foundation:^H4143 he that believeth^H539 shall not be in haste.^H2363

Behold, my servant,^H5650 whom I uphold;^H8551 my chosen,^H972 in whom my soul^H5315 delighteth:^H7521 I have put^H5414 my Spirit^H7307 upon him; he will bring forth^H3318 justice^H4941 to the Gentiles.^H1471

For the Lord^H136 Jehovah^H3069 will help^H5826 me; therefore have I not been confounded:^H3637 therefore have I set^H7760 my face^H6440 like a flint,^H2496 and I know^H3045 that I shall not be put to shame.^H954

But^H61 I will tell^H5046 thee that which is inscribed^H7559 in the writing^H3791 of truth:^H571 and there is none^H259 that holdeth^H2388 with me against these, but Michael^H4317 your prince.^H8269

Behold,^G2400 my^G3450 servant^G3816 whom^G3739 I have chosen;^G140 My^G3450 beloved^G27 in^G1519 whom^G3739 my^G3450 soul^G5590 is well pleased:^G2106 I will put^G5087 my^G3450 Spirit^G4151 upon^G1909 him,^G846 And^G2532 he shall declare^G518 judgment^G2920 to the Gentiles.^G1484

And^G2532 the people^G2992 stood^G2476 beholding.^G2334 And^G1161 the rulers^G758 also^G2532 scoffed^G1592 at^G4862 him,^G846 saying,^G3004 He saved^G4982 others;^G243 let him save^G4982 himself,^G1438 if^G1487 this^G3778 is^G2076 the Christ^G5547 of God,^G2316 his chosen.^G1588

^G435 Brethren,^G80 it was needful^G1163 that the^G3778 Scripture^G1124 should be fulfilled,^G4137 which^G3739 the^G4151 Holy^G40 Spirit^G4151 spake before^G4277 by^G1223 the mouth^G4750 of David^G1138 concerning^G4012 Judas,^G2455 who was^G1096 guide^G3595 to them that took^G4815 Jesus.^G2424

For^G1063 the scripture^G1124 saith,^G3004 Whosoever^G3956 believeth^G4100 on^G1909 him^G846 shall^G2617 not^G3756 be put to shame.^G2617

being built^G2026 upon^G1909 the foundation^G2310 of the apostles^G652 and^G2532 prophets,^G4396 Christ^G5547 Jesus^G2424 himself^G846 being^G5607 the chief corner^G204 stone;

unto^G4314 whom^G3739 coming,^G4334 a living^G2198 stone,^G3037 rejected^G593 indeed^G3303 of^G5259 men,^G444 but^G1161 with^G3844 God^G2316 elect,^G1588 precious,^G1784

as^G5613 also^G2532 in^G1722 all^G3956 [his] epistles,^G1992 speaking^G2980 in^G1722 them^G846 of^G4012 these things;^G5130 wherein^{G3739 G1722} are^G2076 some things^G5100 hard to be understood,^G1425 which^G3739 the ignorant^G261 and^G2532 unstedfast^G793 wrest,^G4761 as^G5613 [they do] also^G2532 the other^G3062 scriptures,^G1124 unto^G4314 their^G846 own^G2398 destruction.^G684
