Blessed^G3107 are ye^G2075 when^G3752 [men] shall reproach^G3679 you,^G5209 and^G2532 persecute^G1377 you, and^G2532 say^G2036 all manner of^G3956 evil^G4190 against^G2596 you^G5216 falsely,^G5574 for^G1752 my^G1700 sake.^G1752

I say^G3004 the truth^G225 in^G1722 Christ,^G5547 I lie^G5574 not,^G3756 my^G3450 conscience^G4893 bearing^G4828 witness^G4828 with me^G3427 in^G1722 the Holy^G40 Spirit,^G4151

but^G235 we have renounced^G550 the hidden things^G2927 of shame,^G152 not^G3361 walking^G4043 in^G1722 craftiness,^G3834 nor^G3366 handling^G1389 the word^G3056 of God^G2316 deceitfully;^G1389 but^G235 by the manifestation^G5321 of the truth^G225 commending^G4921 ourselves^G1438 to^G4314 every^G3956 man's^G444 conscience^G4893 in the sight of^G1799 God.^G2316

holding^G2192 faith^G4102 and^G2532 a good^G18 conscience;^G4893 which^G3739 some^G5100 having thrust from them^G683 made shipwreck^G3489 concerning^G4012 the faith:^G4102

sound^G5199 speech,^G3056 that cannot be condemned;^G176 that^G2443 he that is^G3588 of^G1537 the contrary part^G1727 may be ashamed,^G1788 having^G2192 no^G3367 evil thing^G5337 to say^G3004 of^G4012 us.^G5216

Pray^G4336 for^G4012 us:^G2257 for^G1063 we are persuaded^G3982 that^G3754 we have^G2192 a good^G2570 conscience,^G4893 desiring^G2309 to live^G390 honorably^G2573 in^G1722 all things.^G3956

For^G3754 so^G3779 is^G2076 the will^G2307 of God,^G2316 that by well-doing^G15 ye should put to silence^G5392 the ignorance^G56 of foolish^G878 men:^G444

In like manner,^G3668 ye wives,^G1135 [be] in subjection^G5293 to your own^G2398 husbands;^G435 that,^G2443 even^G2532 if^G1487 any^G5100 obey not^G544 the word,^G3056 they may^G2770 without^G427 the word^G3056 be gained^G2770 by^G1223 the behavior^G391 of their wives;^G1135
