And it came to pass, as they fled^H5127 from before^H6440 Israel,^H3478 while they were at the descent^H4174 of Beth-horon,^H1032 that Jehovah^H3068 cast down^H4174 great^H1419 stones^H68 from heaven^H8064 upon them unto Azekah,^H5825 and they died:^H4191 they were more^H7227 who died^H4191 with the hailstones^H1259 than they whom^H834 the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 slew^H2026 with the sword.^H2719

Now from the time^H6256 that Amaziah^H558 did turn away^H5493 from following^H310 Jehovah^H3068 they made^H7194 a conspiracy^H7195 against him in Jerusalem;^H3389 and he fled^H5127 to Lachish:^H3923 but they sent^H7971 after^H310 him to Lachish,^H3923 and slew^H4191 him there.

when the king^H4428 of Babylon's^H894 army^H2428 was fighting^H3898 against Jerusalem,^H3389 and against all the cities^H5892 of Judah^H3063 that were left,^H3498 against Lachish^H3923 and against Azekah;^H5825 for these [alone] remained^H7604 of the cities^H5892 of Judah^H3063 [as] fortified^H4013 cities.^H5892
