besides [that which] the traders^H582 [brought], and the traffic^H4536 of the merchants,^H7402 and of all the kings^H4428 of the mingled^H6153 people, and of the governors^H6346 of the country.^H776

And God^H430 helped^H5826 him against the Philistines,^H6430 and against the Arabians^H6163 that dwelt^H3427 in Gur-baal,^H1485 and the Meunim.^H4586

That I may make^H8085 the voice^H6963 of thanksgiving^H8426 to be heard,^H5608 And tell of all thy wondrous works.^H6381

O God,^H430 thou hast taught^H3925 me from my youth;^H5271 And hitherto have I declared^H5046 thy wondrous works.^H6381

We will not hide^H3582 them from their children,^H1121 Telling^H5608 to the generation^H1755 to come^H314 the praises^H8416 of Jehovah,^H3068 And his strength,^H5807 and his wondrous works^H6381 that he hath done.^H6213

Declare^H5608 his glory^H3519 among the nations,^H1471 His marvellous^H6381 works among all the peoples.^H5971

Oh that men would praise^H3034 Jehovah^H3068 for his lovingkindness,^H2617 And for his wonderful works^H6381 to the children^H1121 of men!^H120

He hath made^H6213 his wonderful works^H6381 to be remembered:^H2143 Jehovah^H3068 is gracious^H2587 and merciful.^H7349

It shall never^H5331 be inhabited,^H3427 neither shall it be dwelt^H7931 in from generation^H1755 to generation:^H1755 neither shall the Arabian^H6163 pitch tent^H167 there; neither shall shepherds^H7462 make their flocks to lie down^H7257 there.

O Jehovah,^H3068 thou art my God;^H430 I will exalt^H7311 thee, I will praise^H3034 thy name;^H8034 for thou hast done^H6213 wonderful^H6382 things, [even] counsels^H6098 of old,^H7350 in faithfulness^H530 [and] truth.^H544

Lift up^H5375 thine eyes^H5869 unto the bare heights,^H8205 and see;^H7200 where^H375 hast thou not been lain^H7693 with? By the ways^H1870 hast thou sat^H3427 for them, as an Arabian^H6163 in the wilderness;^H4057 and thou hast polluted^H2610 the land^H776 with thy whoredoms^H2184 and with thy wickedness.^H7451

It hath seemed^H6925 good^H8232 unto me to show^H2324 the signs^H852 and wonders^H8540 that the Most High^H5943 God^H426 hath wrought^H5648 toward^H5974 me.

And^G1161 because the haven^G3040 was^G5225 not commodious^G428 to^G4314 winter in,^G3915 the more part^G4119 advised^{G5087 G1012} to put to sea^G321 from thence,^G2547 if by any means^G1513 they could^G1410 reach^{G2658 G1519} Phoenix,^G5405 and winter^G3914 [there; which is] a haven^G3040 of Crete,^G2914 looking^{G991 G2596} north-east^G3047 and^{G2532 G2596} south-east.^G5566

And^G2532 God^G2316 hath set^G5087 some^{G3739 G3303} in^G1722 the church,^G1577 first^G4412 apostles,^G652 secondly^G1208 prophets,^G4396 thirdly^G5154 teachers,^G1320 then^G1899 miracles,^G1411 then^G1534 gifts^G5486 of healings,^G2386 helps,^G484 governments,^G2941 [divers] kinds^G1085 of tongues.^G1100

Now^G1063 this^G3588 Hagar^G28 is^G2076 mount^G3735 Sinai^G4614 in^G1722 Arabia^G688 and^G1161 answereth to^G4960 the Jerusalem^G2419 that^G3588 now^G3568 is:^G3588 for^G1161 she is in bondage^G1398 with^G3326 her^G846 children.^G5043

One^G5100 of^G1537 themselves,^G846 a prophet^G4396 of their^G846 own,^G2398 said,^G2036 Cretans^G2912 are always^G104 liars,^G5583 evil^G2556 beasts,^G2342 idle^G692 gluttons.^G1064
