And Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto him, Who hath made^H7760 man's^H120 mouth?^H6310 Or who maketh^H7760 [a man] dumb,^H483 or deaf,^H2795 or seeing,^H6493 or blind?^H5787 is it not I, Jehovah?^H3068

And when they came^H935 thither to the hill,^H1389 behold, a band^H2256 of prophets^H5030 met^H7125 him; and the Spirit^H7307 of God^H430 came^H6743 mightily upon him, and he prophesied^H5012 among^H8432 them.

Nay, but by [men of] strange^H3934 lips^H8193 and with another^H312 tongue^H3956 will he speak^H1696 to this people;^H5971

But Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto me, Say^H559 not, I am a child;^H5288 for to whomsoever I shall send^H7971 thee thou shalt go,^H3212 and whatsoever I shall command^H6680 thee thou shalt speak.^H1696

And go,^H3212 get^H935 thee to them of the captivity,^H1473 unto the children^H1121 of thy people,^H5971 and speak^H1696 unto them, and tell^H559 them, Thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah;^H3069 whether they will hear,^H8085 or whether they will forbear.^H2308

But^G1161 when^G3752 they deliver^G3860 you^G5209 up,^G3860 be^G3309 not^G3361 anxious^G3309 how^G4459 or^G2228 what^G5101 ye shall speak:^G2980 for^G1063 it shall be given^G1325 you^G5213 in^G1722 that^G1565 hour^G5610 what^G5101 ye shall speak.^G2980

For^G1063 he shall be^G2071 great^G3173 in the sight of^G1799 the Lord,^G2962 and^G2532 he shall drink^G4095 no^G3756 wine^G3631 nor^G2532 strong drink;^G4608 and^G2532 he shall be filled^G4130 with^G4151 the Holy^G40 Spirit,^G4151 even^G2089 from^G1537 his^G846 mother's^G3384 womb.^G3361

And^G2532 his^G846 father^G3962 Zacharias^G2197 was filled^G4130 with the^G4151 Holy^G40 Spirit,^G4151 and^G2532 prophesied,^G4395 saying,^G3004

for^G1063 the Holy^G40 Spirit^G4151 shall teach^G1321 you^G5209 in^G1722 that very^G846 hour^G5610 what^G3739 ye ought^G1163 to say.^G2036

But^G1161 the Comforter,^G3875 [even] the Holy^G40 Spirit,^G4151 whom^G3739 the Father^G3962 will send^G3992 in^G1722 my^G3450 name,^G3686 he^G1565 shall teach^G1321 you^G5209 all things,^G3956 and^G2532 bring^G5279 to your^G5209 remembrance^G5279 all^G3956 that^G3739 I said^G2036 unto you.^G5213

For^G3754 John^G2491 indeed^G3303 baptized^G907 with water;^G5204 but^G1161 ye^G5210 shall be baptized^G907 in^G1722 the^G4151 Holy^G40 Spirit^G4151 not^G3756 many^G4183 days^G2250 hence.^G3778

Cretans^G2912 and^G2532 Arabians,^G690 we hear^G191 them^G846 speaking^G2980 in our^G2251 tongues^G1100 the mighty works^G3167 of God.^G2316

And^G2532 when^G1189 they^G846 had prayed,^G1189 the place^G5117 was shaken^G4531 wherein^{G3739 G1722} they were^G2258 gathered together;^G4863 and^G2532 they were^G4130 all^G537 filled^G4130 with the^G4151 Holy^G40 Spirit,^G4151 and^G2532 they spake^G2980 the word^G3056 of God^G2316 with^G3326 boldness.^G3954

And^G2532 the saying^G3056 pleased^{G700 G1799} the whole^G3956 multitude:^G4128 and^G2532 they chose^G1586 Stephen,^G4736 a man^G435 full^G4134 of faith^G4102 and^G2532 of the Holy^G40 Spirit,^G4151 and^G2532 Philip,^G5376 and^G2532 Prochorus,^G4402 and^G2532 Nicanor,^G3527 and^G2532 Timon,^G5096 and^G2532 Parmenas,^G3937 and^G2532 Nicolaus^G3532 a proselyte^G4339 of Antioch;^G491

But^G1161 he, being^G5225 full^G4134 of the^G4151 Holy^G40 Spirit,^G4151 looked^G816 up^G1519 stedfastly^G816 into^G1519 heaven,^G3772 and^G2532 saw^G1492 the glory^G1391 of God,^G2316 and^G2532 Jesus^G2424 standing^G2476 on^G1537 the right hand^G1188 of God,^G2316

For^G1063 they heard^G191 them^G846 speak^G2980 with tongues,^G1100 and^G2532 magnify^G3170 God.^G2316 Then^G5119 answered^G611 Peter,^G4074

for^G3754 he was^G2258 a good^G18 man,^G435 and^G2532 full^G4134 of the Holy^G40 Spirit^G4151 and^G2532 of faith:^G4102 and^G2532 much^G2425 people^G3793 was added^G4369 unto the Lord.^G2962

And^G1161 the disciples^G3101 were filled^G4137 with joy^{G5479 G2532} with the Holy^G40 Spirit.^G4151

Now^G1161 the God^G2316 of hope^G1680 fill^G4137 you^G5209 with^G5479 all^G3956 joy^G5479 and^G2532 peace^G1515 in^G1722 believing,^G4100 that^G1519 ye^G5209 may abound^G4052 in^G1722 hope,^G1680 in^G1722 the power^G1411 of the^G4151 Holy^G40 Spirit.^G4151

And^G2532 God^G2316 hath set^G5087 some^{G3739 G3303} in^G1722 the church,^G1577 first^G4412 apostles,^G652 secondly^G1208 prophets,^G4396 thirdly^G5154 teachers,^G1320 then^G1899 miracles,^G1411 then^G1534 gifts^G5486 of healings,^G2386 helps,^G484 governments,^G2941 [divers] kinds^G1085 of tongues.^G1100

Love^G26 never^G3763 faileth:^G1601 but^G1161 whether^G1535 [there be] prophecies,^G4394 they shall be done away;^G2673 whether^G1535 [there be] tongues,^G1100 they shall cease;^G3973 whether^G1535 [there be] knowledge,^G1108 it shall be done away.^G2673

I thank^{G2168 G3450} God,^G2316 I speak^G2980 with tongues^G1100 more than^G3123 you^G5216 all:^G3956

What^G5101 is it^G2076 then,^G3767 brethren?^G80 When^G3752 ye come together,^G4905 each one^G1538 hath^G2192 a psalm,^G5568 hath^G2192 a teaching,^G1322 hath^G2192 a revelation,^G602 hath^G2192 a tongue,^G1100 hath^G2192 an interpretation.^G2058 Let^G1096 all things^G3956 be done^G1096 unto^G4314 edifying.^G3619

And^G2532 be^G3182 not^G3361 drunken^G3182 with^G1722 wine,^G3631 wherein^G3739 is^G2076 riot,^G810 but^G235 be filled^G4137 with^G1722 the Spirit;^G4151

To whom^G3739 it was revealed,^G601 that^G3754 not^G3756 unto themselves,^G1438 but^G1161 unto you,^G2254 did they minister^G1247 these things,^G846 which^G3739 now^G3568 have been^G312 announced^G312 unto you^G5213 through^G1223 them^G3588 that preached the gospel^G2097 unto you^G5209 by^G1722 the Holy^G40 Spirit^G4151 sent forth^G649 from^G575 heaven;^G3772 which things^G3739 angels^G32 desire^G1937 to look^G3879 into.^G1519
