And they said^H559 unto Moses,^H4872 Because there were no graves^H6913 in Egypt,^H4714 hast thou taken us away^H3947 to die^H4191 in the wilderness?^H4057 wherefore^H2063 hast thou dealt^H6213 thus with us, to bring us forth^H3318 out of Egypt?^H4714

And the people^H5971 thirsted^H6770 there for water;^H4325 and the people^H5971 murmured^H3885 against Moses,^H4872 and said,^H559 Wherefore hast thou brought^H5927 us up out of Egypt,^H4714 to kill^H4191 us and our children^H1121 and our cattle^H4735 with thirst?^H6772

And wherefore doth Jehovah^H3068 bring^H935 us unto this land,^H776 to fall^H5307 by the sword?^H2719 Our wives^H802 and our little ones^H2945 will be a prey:^H957 were it not better^H2896 for us to return^H7725 into Egypt?^H4714

And Gilead's^H1568 wife^H802 bare^H3205 him sons;^H1121 and when his wife's^H802 sons^H1121 grew up,^H1431 they drove out^H1644 Jephthah,^H3316 and said^H559 unto him, Thou shalt not inherit^H5157 in our father's^H1 house;^H1004 for thou art the son^H1121 of another^H312 woman.^H802

But they and our fathers^H1 dealt proudly^H2102 and hardened^H7185 their neck,^H6203 and hearkened^H8085 not to thy commandments,^H4687

They angered^H7107 him also at the waters^H4325 of Meribah,^H4808 So that it went ill^H3415 with Moses^H4872 for their sakes;

But^G1161 he that did^G91 his neighbor^G4139 wrong^G91 thrust^G683 him^G846 away,^G683 saying,^G2036 Who^G5101 made^G2525 thee^G4571 a ruler^G758 and^G2532 a judge^G1348 over^G1909 us?^G2248
