And it shall come to pass, that him that escapeth^H4422 from the sword^H2719 of Hazael^H2371 shall Jehu^H3058 slay;^H4191 and him that escapeth^H4422 from the sword^H2719 of Jehu^H3058 shall Elisha^H477 slay.^H4191

In those days^H3117 Jehovah^H3068 began^H2490 to cut^H7096 off^H7096 from Israel:^H3478 and Hazael^H2371 smote^H5221 them in all the borders^H1366 of Israel;^H3478

For he left^H7604 not to Jehoahaz^H3059 of the people^H5971 save fifty^H2572 horsemen,^H6571 and ten^H6235 chariots,^H7393 and ten^H6235 thousand^H505 footmen;^H7273 for the king^H4428 of Syria^H758 destroyed^H6 them, and made^H7760 them like the dust^H6083 in threshing.^H1758

These ten^H6235 times^H6471 have ye reproached^H3637 me: Ye are not ashamed^H954 that ye deal hardly^H1970 with me.

Give^H5414 a portion^H2506 to seven,^H7651 yea, even unto eight;^H8083 for thou knowest^H3045 not what evil^H7451 shall be upon the earth.^H776

For before the child^H5288 shall have knowledge^H3045 to cry,^H7121 My father,^H1 and, My mother,^H517 the riches^H2428 of Damascus^H1834 and the spoil^H7998 of Samaria^H8111 shall be carried away^H5375 before^H6440 the king^H4428 of Assyria.^H804

Behold, I have made^H7760 thee [to be] a new^H2319 sharp^H2742 threshing^H4173 instrument having^H1167 teeth;^H6374 thou shalt thresh^H1758 the mountains,^H2022 and beat them small,^H1854 and shalt make^H7760 the hills^H1389 as chaff.^H4671

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 For three^H7969 transgressions^H6588 of Gaza,^H5804 yea, for four,^H702 I will not turn away^H7725 the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive^H1540 the whole^H8003 people,^H1546 to deliver them up^H5462 to Edom.^H123

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 For three^H7969 transgressions^H6588 of Edom,^H123 yea, for four,^H702 I will not turn away^H7725 the punishment thereof; because he did pursue^H7291 his brother^H251 with the sword,^H2719 and did cast off^H7843 all pity,^H7356 and his anger^H639 did tear^H2963 perpetually,^H5703 and he kept^H8104 his wrath^H5678 for ever:^H5331

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 For three^H7969 transgressions^H6588 of Moab,^H4124 yea, for four,^H702 I will not turn away^H7725 the punishment thereof; because he burned^H8313 the bones^H6106 of the king^H4428 of Edom^H123 into lime:^H7875

and Hamath,^H2574 also, which bordereth^H1379 thereon; Tyre^H6865 and Sidon,^H6721 because they are very^H3966 wise.^H2449
