and that thou mayest tell^H5608 in the ears^H241 of thy son,^H1121 and of thy son's^H1121 son,^H1121 what things I have wrought^H5953 upon Egypt,^H4714 and my signs^H226 which I have done^H7760 among them; that ye may know^H3045 that I am Jehovah.^H3068

that ye shall say,^H559 It is the sacrifice^H2077 of Jehovah's^H3068 passover,^H6453 who passed^H6452 over the houses^H1004 of the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 in Egypt,^H4714 when he smote^H5062 the Egyptians,^H4714 and delivered^H5337 our houses.^H1004 And the people^H5971 bowed the head^H6915 and worshipped.^H7812

Only take heed^H8104 to thyself, and keep^H8104 thy soul^H5315 diligently,^H3966 lest thou forget^H7911 the things^H1697 which thine eyes^H5869 saw,^H7200 and lest they depart^H5493 from thy heart^H3824 all the days^H3117 of thy life;^H2416 but make them known^H3045 unto thy children^H1121 and thy children's^H1121 children;^H1121

Which we have heard^H8085 and known,^H3045 And our fathers^H1 have told^H5608 us.

And,^G2532 ye^G3588 fathers,^G3962 provoke^G3949 not^G3361 your^G5216 children^G5043 to wrath:^G3949 but^G235 nurture^G1625 them^G846 in^G1722 the chastening^G3809 and^G2532 admonition^G3559 of the Lord.^G2962
