then Moses^H4872 stood^H5975 in the gate^H8179 of the camp,^H4264 and said,^H559 Whoso is on Jehovah's^H3068 side, [let him come] unto me. And all the sons^H1121 of Levi^H3878 gathered^H622 themselves together unto him.

And Moses^H4872 said^H559 unto the judges^H8199 of Israel,^H3478 Slay^H2026 ye every^H376 one^H376 his men^H582 that have joined^H6775 themselves unto Baal-peor.^H1187

If your brother,^H251 the son^H1121 of your mother,^H517 or your son,^H1121 or your daughter,^H1323 or the wife^H802 of your bosom,^H2436 or your friend,^H7453 that is as your own soul,^H5315 entice^H5496 you secretly,^H5643 saying,^H559 Let us go^H3212 and serve^H5647 other^H312 gods,^H430 which you have not known,^H3045 you, nor your fathers;^H1

And of Levi^H3878 he said,^H559 Thy Thummim^H8550 and thy Urim^H224 are with thy godly^H2623 one,^H376 Whom thou didst prove^H5254 at Massah,^H4532 With whom thou didst strive^H7378 at the waters^H4325 of Meribah;^H4809

And to the others^H428 he said^H559 in my hearing,^H241 Go^H5674 ye through the city^H5892 after^H310 him, and smite:^H5221 let not your eye^H5869 spare,^H2347 neither have ye pity;^H2550
