Then Jacob^H3290 went on^H5375 his journey,^H7272 and came^H3212 to the land^H776 of the children^H1121 of the east.^H6924

And it came to pass, while Israel^H3478 dwelt^H7931 in that land,^H776 that Reuben^H7205 went^H3212 and lay^H7901 with Bilhah^H1090 his father's^H1 concubine:^H6370 and Israel^H3478 heard^H8085 of it. Now the sons^H1121 of Jacob^H3290 were twelve:^H8147

And the children^H1121 of Reuben,^H7205 Israel's^H3478 first-born,^H1060 their generations,^H8435 by their families,^H4940 by their fathers'^H1 houses,^H1004 according to the number^H4557 of the names,^H8034 by their polls,^H1538 every male^H2145 from twenty^H6242 years^H8141 old^H1121 and upward,^H4605 all that were able to go forth^H3318 to war;^H6635

[ Take the sum of the people], from twenty^H6242 years^H8141 old^H1121 and upward;^H4605 as Jehovah^H3068 commanded^H6680 Moses^H4872 and the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 that came forth^H3318 out of the land^H776 of Egypt.^H4714

These are the sons^H1121 of Israel:^H3478 Reuben,^H7205 Simeon,^H8095 Levi,^H3878 and Judah,^H3063 Issachar,^H3485 and Zebulun,^H2074
