The way^H1870 of the sluggard^H6102 is as a hedge^H4881 of thorns;^H2312 But the path^H734 of the upright^H3477 is made a highway.^H734

I went^H5674 by the field^H7704 of the sluggard,^H376 And by the vineyard^H3754 of the man^H120 void^H2638 of understanding;^H3820

If thou know^H3045 not, O thou fairest^H3303 among women,^H802 Go thy way forth^H3318 by the footsteps^H6119 of the flock,^H6629 And feed^H7462 thy kids^H1429 beside the shepherds'^H7462 tents.^H4908

I^G1473 am^G1510 the God^G2316 of Abraham,^G11 and^G2532 the God^G2316 of Isaac,^G2464 and^G2532 the God^G2316 of Jacob?^G2384 God^G2316 is^G2076 not^G3756 [the God]^G2316 of the dead,^G3498 but^G235 of the living.^G2198

And^G1161 that^G3588 in^G1722 the good^G2570 ground,^G1093 these are^G1526 such^G3778 as^G3748 in^G1722 an honest^G18 and^G2532 good^G2570 heart,^G2588 having heard^G191 the word,^G3056 hold^G2722 it fast, and^G2532 bring forth fruit^G2592 with^G1722 patience.^G5281

Remember^G3421 them that had the rule over^G2233 you,^G5216 men^G3748 that spake^G2980 unto you^G5213 the word^G3056 of God;^G2316 and considering^G333 the issue^G1545 of their^G3739 life,^G391 imitate^G3401 their faith.^G4102

Take,^{G2983 G3450} brethren,^G80 None for an example^G5262 of suffering^G2552 and^G2532 of patience,^G3115 the prophets^G4396 who^G3739 spake^G2980 in the name^G3686 of the Lord.^G2962

Wherefore,^G1352 brethren,^G80 give the more^G3123 diligence^G4704 to make^G4160 your^G5216 calling^G2821 and^G2532 election^G1589 sure:^G949 for^G1063 if ye do^G4160 these things,^G5023 ye shall^{G4218 G4417} never^{G3756 G4218} stumble:^G4417
