Therefore will I take^H3947 back^H7725 my grain^H1715 in the time^H6256 thereof, and my new wine^H8492 in the season^H4150 thereof, and will pluck^H5337 away my wool^H6785 and my flax^H6593 which should have covered^H3680 her nakedness.^H6172

And I will lay waste^H8074 her vines^H1612 and her fig-trees,^H8384 whereof she hath said,^H559 These are my hire^H866 that my lovers^H157 have given^H5414 me; and I will make^H7760 them a forest,^H3293 and the beasts^H2416 of the field^H7704 shall eat^H398 them.

The meal-offering^H4503 and the drink-offering^H5262 are cut off^H3772 from the house^H1004 of Jehovah;^H3068 the priests,^H3548 Jehovah's^H3068 ministers,^H8334 mourn.^H56

Forasmuch^H3282 therefore as ye trample^H1318 upon the poor,^H1800 and take^H3947 exactions^H4864 from him of wheat:^H1250 ye have built^H1129 houses^H1004 of hewn stone,^H1496 but ye shall not dwell^H3427 in them; ye have planted^H5193 pleasant^H2531 vineyards,^H3754 but ye shall not drink^H8354 the wine^H3196 thereof.

Ye looked^H6437 for much,^H7235 and, lo, it came to little;^H4592 and when ye brought^H935 it home,^H1004 I did blow^H5301 upon it. Why? saith^H5002 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts.^H6635 Because^H3282 of my house^H1004 that lieth waste,^H2720 while ye run^H7323 every man^H376 to his own house.^H1004
