For the yoke^H5923 of his burden,^H5448 and the staff^H4294 of his shoulder,^H7926 the rod^H7626 of his oppressor,^H5065 thou hast broken^H2865 as in the day^H3117 of Midian.^H4080

that smote^H5221 the peoples^H5971 in wrath^H5678 with a continual^H1115 stroke,^H4347 that ruled^H7287 the nations^H1471 in anger,^H639 with a persecution^H4783 that none^H1097 restrained.^H2820

A grievous^H7186 vision^H2380 is declared^H5046 unto me; the treacherous man^H898 dealeth treacherously,^H898 and the destroyer^H7703 destroyeth.^H7703 Go up,^H5927 O Elam;^H5867 besiege,^H6696 O Media;^H4074 all the sighing^H585 thereof have I made to cease.^H7673

Sit^H3427 thou silent,^H1748 and get^H935 thee into darkness,^H2822 O daughter^H1323 of the Chaldeans;^H3778 for thou shalt no more^H3254 be called^H7121 The mistress^H1404 of kingdoms.^H4467

and I will put^H7760 it into the hand^H3027 of them that afflict^H3013 thee, that have said^H559 to thy soul,^H5315 Bow down,^H7812 that we may go over;^H5674 and thou hast laid^H7760 thy back^H1460 as the ground,^H776 and as the street,^H2351 to them that go over.^H5674

behold, I will send^H7971 and take^H3947 all the families^H4940 of the north,^H6828 saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 and [I will send] unto Nebuchadrezzar^H5019 the king^H4428 of Babylon,^H894 my servant,^H5650 and will bring^H935 them against this land,^H776 and against the inhabitants^H3427 thereof, and against all these nations^H1471 round about;^H5439 and I will utterly destroy^H2763 them, and make^H7760 them an astonishment,^H8047 and a hissing,^H8322 and perpetual^H5769 desolations.^H2723

All ye that are round about^H5439 him, bemoan^H5110 him, and all ye that know^H3045 his name;^H8034 say,^H559 How is the strong^H5797 staff^H4294 broken,^H7665 the beautiful^H8597 rod!^H4731

Thou art my battle-axe^H4661 and weapons^H3627 of war:^H4421 and with thee will I break in pieces^H5310 the nations;^H1471 and with thee will I destroy^H7843 kingdoms;^H4467

How is the gold^H2091 become dim!^H6004 [how] is the most^H2896 pure gold^H3800 changed!^H8132 The stones^H68 of the sanctuary^H6944 are poured out^H8210 at the head^H7218 of every street.^H2351

and wheresoever^H3606 the children^H1123 of men^H606 dwell,^H1753 the beasts^H2423 of the field^H1251 and the birds^H5776 of the heavens^H8065 hath he given^H3052 into thy hand,^H3028 and hath made thee to rule^H7981 over them all:^H3606 thou^H607 art the head^H7217 of gold.^H1722

O Jehovah,^H3068 how long shall I cry,^H7768 and thou wilt not hear?^H8085 I cry out^H2199 unto thee of violence,^H2555 and thou wilt not save.^H3467

For the violence^H2555 done to Lebanon^H3844 shall cover^H3680 thee, and the destruction^H7701 of the beasts,^H929 which made them afraid;^H2865 because of men's^H120 blood,^H1818 and for the violence^H2555 done to the land,^H776 to the city^H7151 and to all that dwell^H3427 therein.

And^G2532 I heard^G191 the angel^G32 of the waters^G5204 saying,^G3004 Righteous^G1342 art^G1488 thou, who art^G5607 and^G2532 who wast,^{G2258 G2532 G3741} thou Holy One,^G2962 because^G3754 thou didst thus^G5023 judge:^G2919

for^G3754 her^G846 sins^G266 have reached^G190 even unto^G891 heaven,^G3772 and^G2532 God^G2316 hath remembered^G3421 her^G846 iniquities.^G92

Rejoice^G2165 over^G1909 her,^G846 thou heaven,^G3772 and^G2532 ye saints, and^G2532 ye apostles,^G652 and^G2532 ye prophets;^G4396 for^G3754 God^G2316 hath^G2919 judged^G2917 your^G5216 judgment on^G1537 her.^G846
