Because ye have said,^H559 We have made^H3772 a covenant^H1285 with death,^H4194 and with Sheol^H7585 are we^H6213 at agreement;^H2374 when the overflowing^H7857 scourge^H7752 shall pass through,^H5674 it shall not come^H935 unto us; for we have made^H7760 lies^H3577 our refuge,^H4268 and under falsehood^H8267 have we hid^H5641 ourselves:

that frustrateth^H6565 the signs^H226 of the liars,^H907 and maketh diviners^H7080 mad;^H1984 that turneth^H7725 wise^H2450 men backward,^H268 and maketh their knowledge^H1847 foolish;^H5528

Make ye him drunken;^H7937 for he magnified^H1431 himself against Jehovah:^H3068 and Moab^H4124 shall wallow^H5606 in his vomit,^H6892 and he also shall be in derision.^H7814

And Moab^H4124 shall be destroyed^H8045 from being a people,^H5971 because he hath magnified^H1431 himself against Jehovah.^H3068

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 For three^H7969 transgressions^H6588 of Moab,^H4124 yea, for four,^H702 I will not turn away^H7725 the punishment thereof; because he burned^H8313 the bones^H6106 of the king^H4428 of Edom^H123 into lime:^H7875

I have heard^H8085 the reproach^H2781 of Moab,^H4124 and the revilings^H1421 of the children^H1121 of Ammon,^H5983 wherewith they have reproached^H2778 my people,^H5971 and magnified^H1431 themselves against their border.^H1366
