Therefore thus saith^H559 the Lord,^H136 Jehovah^H3069 of hosts,^H6635 O my people^H5971 that dwellest^H3427 in Zion,^H6726 be not afraid^H3372 of the Assyrian,^H804 though he smite^H5221 thee with the rod,^H7626 and lift up^H5375 his staff^H4294 against thee, after the manner^H1870 of Egypt.^H4714

He hath swallowed up^H1104 death^H4194 for ever;^H5331 and the Lord^H136 Jehovah^H3069 will wipe away^H4229 tears^H1832 from off all faces;^H6440 and the reproach^H2781 of his people^H5971 will he take away^H5493 from off all the earth:^H776 for Jehovah^H3068 hath spoken^H1696 it.

Comfort^H5162 ye, comfort^H5162 ye my people,^H5971 saith^H559 your God.^H430

For Jehovah^H3068 hath called^H7121 thee as a wife^H802 forsaken^H5800 and grieved^H6087 in spirit,^H7307 even a wife^H802 of youth,^H5271 when she is cast off,^H3988 saith^H559 thy God.^H430

Thy sun^H8121 shall no more go down,^H935 neither shall thy moon^H3391 withdraw^H622 itself; for Jehovah^H3068 will be thine everlasting^H5769 light,^H216 and the days^H3117 of thy mourning^H60 shall be ended.^H7999

And I will bring forth^H3318 a seed^H2233 out of Jacob,^H3290 and out of Judah^H3063 an inheritor^H3423 of my mountains;^H2022 and my chosen^H972 shall inherit^H3423 it, and my servants^H5650 shall dwell^H7931 there.

And I will rejoice^H1523 in Jerusalem,^H3389 and joy^H7797 in my people;^H5971 and there shall be heard^H8085 in her no more the voice^H6963 of weeping^H1065 and the voice^H6963 of crying.^H2201

For I know^H3045 the thoughts^H4284 that I think^H2803 toward you, saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 thoughts^H4284 of peace,^H7965 and not of evil,^H7451 to give^H5414 you hope in your latter^H8615 end.^H319

For thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 Thy hurt^H7667 is incurable,^H605 and thy wound^H4347 grievous.^H2470

They shall come^H935 with weeping;^H1065 and with supplications^H8469 will I lead^H2986 them: I will cause them to walk^H3212 by rivers^H5158 of waters,^H4325 in a straight^H3477 way^H1870 wherein they shall not stumble;^H3782 for I am a father^H1 to Israel,^H3478 and Ephraim^H669 is my first-born.^H1060

Call^H7121 unto me, and I will answer^H6030 thee, and will show^H5046 thee great^H1419 things,^H1219 and difficult, which thou knowest^H3045 not.

The voice^H6963 of them that flee^H5127 and escape out^H6405 of the land^H776 of Babylon,^H894 to declare^H5046 in Zion^H6726 the vengeance^H5360 of Jehovah^H3068 our God,^H430 the vengeance^H5360 of his temple.^H1964

For in my holy^H6944 mountain,^H2022 in the mountain^H2022 of the height^H4791 of Israel,^H3478 saith^H5002 the Lord^H136 Jehovah,^H3069 there shall all the house^H1004 of Israel,^H3478 all of them, serve^H5647 me in the land:^H776 there will I accept^H7521 them, and there will I require^H1875 your offerings,^H8641 and the first-fruits^H7225 of your oblations,^H4864 with all your holy things.^H6944

And they shall dwell^H3427 in the land^H776 that I have given^H5414 unto Jacob^H3290 my servant,^H5650 wherein your fathers^H1 dwelt;^H3427 and they shall dwell^H3427 therein, they, and their children,^H1121 and their children's^H1121 children,^H1121 for ever:^H5769 and David^H1732 my servant^H5650 shall be their prince^H5387 for^H5704 ever.^H5769

Sing,^H7442 O daughter^H1323 of Zion;^H6726 shout,^H7321 O Israel;^H3478 be glad^H8055 and rejoice^H5937 with all the heart,^H3820 O daughter^H1323 of Jerusalem.^H3389

and said^H559 unto him, Run,^H7323 speak^H1696 to this^H1975 young man,^H5288 saying,^H559 Jerusalem^H3389 shall be inhabited^H3427 as villages without walls,^H6519 by reason of the multitude^H7230 of men^H120 and cattle^H929 therein.^H8432

Ask,^G154 and^G2532 it shall be given^G1325 you;^G5213 seek,^G2212 and^G2532 ye shall find;^G2147 knock,^G2925 and^G2532 it shall be opened^G455 unto you:^G5213

and^G2532 so^G3779 all^G3956 Israel^G2474 shall be saved:^G4982 even as^G2531 it is written,^G1125 There shall come^G2240 out of^G1537 Zion^G4622 the Deliverer;^{G4506 G2532} He shall turn away^G654 ungodliness^G763 from^G575 Jacob:^G2384

And^G2532 this^G3778 is^G2076 the boldness^G3954 which^G3739 we have^G2192 toward^G4314 him,^G846 that,^G3754 if^G1437 we ask^G154 anything^G5100 according to^G2596 his^G846 will,^G2307 he heareth^G191 us:^G2257

for^G3754 the Lamb^G721 that^G3588 is in^G303 the midst^G3319 of the throne^G2362 shall be their^G846 shepherd,^G4165 and^G2532 shall guide^G3594 them^G846 unto^G1909 fountains^G4077 of waters^G5204 of life:^G2198 and^G2532 God^G2316 shall wipe away^G1813 every^G3956 tear^G1144 from^G575 their^G846 eyes.^G3788
