Rejoice,^H7442 O ye nations,^H1471 [with] his people:^H5971 For he will avenge^H5358 the blood^H1818 of his servants,^H5650 And will render^H7725 vengeance^H5359 to his adversaries,^H6862 And will make expiation^H3722 for his land,^H127 for his people.^H5971

and cover^H3680 not their iniquity,^H5771 and let not their sin^H2403 be blotted out^H4229 from before^H6440 thee; for they have provoked [thee] to anger^H3707 before the builders.^H1129

For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David; when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bath-sheba. Have mercy^H2603 upon me, O God,^H430 according to thy lovingkindness:^H2617 According to the multitude^H7230 of thy tender mercies^H7356 blot^H4229 out my transgressions.^H6588

As far as^H7368 the east^H4217 is from the west,^H4628 So far hath he removed^H7368 our transgressions^H6588 from us.

And he will redeem^H6299 Israel^H3478 From all his iniquities.^H5771

Zion^H6726 shall be redeemed^H6299 with justice,^H4941 and her converts^H7725 with righteousness.^H6666

But now thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 that created^H1254 thee, O Jacob,^H3290 and he that formed^H3335 thee, O Israel:^H3478 Fear^H3372 not, for I have redeemed^H1350 thee; I have called^H7121 thee by thy name,^H8034 thou art mine.

Go ye forth^H3318 from Babylon,^H894 flee^H1272 ye from the Chaldeans;^H3778 with a voice^H6963 of singing^H7440 declare^H5046 ye, tell^H8085 this, utter^H3318 it even to the end^H7097 of the earth:^H776 say^H559 ye, Jehovah^H3068 hath redeemed^H1350 his servant^H5650 Jacob.^H3290

Break forth into joy,^H6476 sing^H7442 together,^H3162 ye waste places^H2723 of Jerusalem;^H3389 for Jehovah^H3068 hath comforted^H5162 his people,^H5971 he hath redeemed^H1350 Jerusalem.^H3389

And a Redeemer^H1350 will come^H935 to Zion,^H6726 and unto them that turn^H7725 from transgression^H6588 in Jacob,^H3290 saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

Go,^H1980 and proclaim^H7121 these words^H1697 toward the north,^H6828 and say,^H559 Return,^H7725 thou backsliding^H4878 Israel,^H3478 saith^H5002 Jehovah;^H3068 I will not look^H5307 in anger^H6440 upon you; for I am merciful,^H2623 saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 I will not keep^H5201 [anger] for ever.^H5769

Yet, Jehovah,^H3068 thou knowest^H3045 all their counsel^H6098 against me to slay^H4194 me; forgive^H3722 not their iniquity,^H5771 neither blot out^H4229 their sin^H2403 from thy sight;^H6440 but let them be overthrown^H3782 before^H6440 thee; deal^H6213 thou with them in the time^H6256 of thine anger.^H639

In those days,^H3117 and in that time,^H6256 saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 the iniquity^H5771 of Israel^H3478 shall be sought for,^H1245 and there shall be none; and the sins^H2403 of Judah,^H3063 and they shall not be found:^H4672 for I will pardon^H5545 them whom I leave as a remnant.^H7604

that thou mayest remember,^H2142 and be confounded,^H954 and never open^H6610 thy mouth^H6310 any more, because^H6440 of thy shame,^H3639 when I have forgiven^H3722 thee all that thou hast done,^H6213 saith^H5002 the Lord^H136 Jehovah.^H3069

Take^H3947 with you words,^H1697 and return^H7725 unto Jehovah:^H3068 say^H559 unto him, Take away^H5375 all iniquity,^H5771 and accept^H3947 that which is good:^H2896 so will we render^H7999 [as] bullocks^H6499 [the offering of] our lips.^H8193

And he answered^H6030 and spoke^H559 unto those that stood^H5975 before^H6440 him, saying,^H559 Take the filthy^H6674 garments^H899 from off^H5493 him. And unto him he said,^H559 Behold,^H7200 I have caused your iniquity^H5771 to pass^H5674 from you, and I will clothe^H3847 you with rich apparel.^H4254

But^G1161 the things^G3588 which^G3739 God^G2316 foreshowed^G4293 by^G1223 the mouth^G4750 of all^G3956 the prophets,^G4396 that^G3958 his^G846 Christ^G5547 should suffer,^G3958 he ^G4137 thus^G3779 fulfilled.^G4137

instructing^G3811 us,^G2248 to the intent that,^G2443 denying^G720 ungodliness^G763 and^G2532 worldly^G2886 lusts,^G1939 we should live^G2198 soberly^G4996 and righteously^G1346 and^G2532 godly^G2153 in^G1722 this^G3588 present^G3568 world;^G165
