Thus saith^H559 Cyrus^H3566 king^H4428 of Persia,^H6539 All the kingdoms^H4467 of the earth^H776 hath Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of heaven,^H8064 given^H5414 me; and he hath charged^H6485 me to build^H1129 him a house^H1004 in Jerusalem,^H3389 which is in Judah.^H3063 Whosoever there is among you of all his people,^H5971 Jehovah^H3068 his God^H430 be with him, and let him go up.^H5927

By terrible things^H3372 thou wilt answer^H6030 us in righteousness,^H6664 Oh God^H430 of our salvation,^H3468 Thou that art the confidence^H4009 of all the ends^H7099 of the earth,^H776 And of them that are afar off^H7350 upon the sea:^H3220

Who hath raised up^H5782 one from the east,^H4217 whom he calleth^H7121 in righteousness^H6664 to his foot?^H7272 he giveth^H5414 nations^H1471 before^H6440 him, and maketh him rule^H7287 over kings;^H4428 he giveth^H5414 them as the dust^H6083 to his sword,^H2719 as the driven^H5086 stubble^H7179 to his bow.^H7198

I, Jehovah,^H3068 have called^H7121 thee in righteousness,^H6664 and will hold^H2388 thy hand,^H3027 and will keep^H5341 thee, and give^H5414 thee for a covenant^H1285 of the people,^H5971 for a light^H216 of the Gentiles;^H1471

calling^H7121 a ravenous bird^H5861 from the east,^H4217 the man^H376 of my counsel^H6098 from a far^H4801 country;^H776 yea, I have spoken,^H1696 I will also bring^H935 it to pass; I have purposed,^H3335 I will also do^H6213 it.

I, even I, have spoken;^H1696 yea, I have called^H7121 him; I have brought^H935 him, and he shall make his way^H1870 prosperous.^H6743

Shake^H5287 thyself from the dust;^H6083 arise,^H6965 sit^H3427 [on thy throne], O Jerusalem:^H3389 loose^H6605 thyself from the bonds^H4147 of thy neck,^H6677 O captive^H7628 daughter^H1323 of Zion.^H6726

Now therefore, what do I here, saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 seeing that my people^H5971 is taken away^H3947 for nought?^H2600 they that rule^H4910 over them do howl,^H3213 saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 and my name^H8034 continually^H8548 all the day^H3117 is blasphemed.^H5006

knowing^G1492 that^G3754 ye were^G3084 redeemed,^G3084 not^G3756 with corruptible things,^G5349 with silver^G694 or^G2228 gold,^G5553 from^G1537 your^G5216 vain^G3152 manner of life^G391 handed down from your fathers;^G3970
