For the Chief Musician; set to Aijeleth hash-Shahar. A Psalm of David. My God,^H410 my God,^H410 why hast thou forsaken^H5800 me? [Why art thou so] far^H7350 from helping^H3444 me, [and from] the words^H1697 of my groaning?^H7581

I call to remembrance^H2142 my song^H5058 in the night:^H3915 I commune^H7878 with mine own heart;^H3824 And my spirit^H7307 maketh diligent search.^H2664

Why sayest^H559 thou, O Jacob,^H3290 and speakest,^H1696 O Israel,^H3478 My way^H1870 is hid^H5641 from Jehovah,^H3068 and the justice^H4941 [due] to me is passed away^H5674 from my God?^H430

therefore, behold, I will utterly^H5377 forget^H5382 you, and I will cast^H5203 you off, and the city^H5892 that I gave^H5414 unto you and to your fathers,^H1 away from my presence:^H6440
