And Jehovah^H3068 saw^H7200 that the wickedness^H7451 of man^H120 was great^H7227 in the earth,^H776 and that every imagination^H3336 of the thoughts^H4284 of his heart^H3820 was only^H7535 evil^H7451 continually.^H3117

Jehovah^H3068 is slow to anger,^H750 and abundant^H7227 in lovingkindness,^H2617 forgiving^H5375 iniquity^H5771 and transgression;^H6588 and that will by no means^H5352 clear^H5352 [the guilty], visiting^H6485 the iniquity^H5771 of the fathers^H1 upon the children,^H1121 upon the third^H8029 and upon the fourth^H7256 generation.

and he went out^H3318 to meet^H6440 Asa,^H609 and said^H559 unto him, Hear^H8085 ye me, Asa,^H609 and all Judah^H3063 and Benjamin:^H1144 Jehovah^H3068 is with you, while ye are with him; and if ye seek^H1875 him, he will be found^H4672 of you; but if ye forsake^H5800 him, he will forsake^H5800 you.

If I regard^H7200 iniquity^H205 in my heart,^H3820 The Lord^H136 will not hear:^H8085

O Israel,^H3478 hope^H3176 in Jehovah;^H3068 For with Jehovah^H3068 there is lovingkindness,^H2617 And with him is plenteous^H7235 redemption.^H6304

Wash^H7364 you, make you clean;^H2135 put away^H5493 the evil^H7455 of your doings^H4611 from before^H5048 mine eyes;^H5869 cease^H2308 to do evil;^H7489

And the instruments^H3627 of the churl^H3596 are evil:^H7451 he deviseth^H3289 wicked devices^H2154 to destroy^H2254 the meek^H6041 with lying^H8267 words,^H561 even when the needy^H34 speaketh^H1696 right.^H4941

I, even I, am he that blotteth out^H4229 thy transgressions^H6588 for mine own sake; and I will not remember^H2142 thy sins.^H2403

For the mountains^H2022 may depart,^H4185 and the hills^H1389 be removed;^H4131 but my lovingkindness^H2617 shall not depart^H4185 from thee, neither shall my covenant^H1285 of peace^H7965 be removed,^H4131 saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 that hath mercy^H7355 on thee.

Moreover thou shalt say^H559 unto them, Thus saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 Shall men fall,^H5307 and not rise^H6965 up again? Shall one turn away,^H7725 and not return?^H7725

When I say^H559 unto the wicked,^H7563 Thou shalt surely^H4191 die;^H4191 and thou givest him not warning,^H2094 nor speakest^H1696 to warn^H2094 the wicked^H7563 from his wicked^H7563 way,^H1870 to save his life;^H2421 the same wicked^H7563 man shall die^H4191 in his iniquity;^H5771 but his blood^H1818 will I require^H1245 at thy hand.^H3027

Again, when the wicked^H7563 man turneth away^H7725 from his wickedness^H7564 that he hath committed,^H6213 and doeth^H6213 that which is lawful^H4941 and right,^H6666 he shall save^H2421 his soul^H5315 alive.^H2421

For I have no pleasure^H2654 in the death^H4194 of him that dieth,^H4191 saith^H5002 the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H136 wherefore turn^H7725 yourselves, and live.^H2421

Again, when I say^H559 unto the wicked,^H7563 Thou shalt surely^H4191 die;^H4191 if he turn^H7725 from his sin,^H2403 and do^H6213 that which is lawful^H4941 and right;^H6666

And God^H430 saw^H7200 their works,^H4639 that they turned^H7725 from their evil^H7451 way;^H1870 and God^H430 repented^H5162 of the evil^H7451 which he said^H1696 he would do^H6213 unto them; and he did^H6213 it not.

But^G1161 go ye and^G4198 learn^G3129 what^G5101 [this] meaneth,^G2076 I desire^G2309 mercy,^G1656 and^G2532 not^G3756 sacrifice,^G2378 for^G1063 I came^G2064 not^G3756 to call^G2564 the righteous,^G1342 but^G235 sinners.^G268

Woe^G3759 unto you,^G5213 scribes^G1122 and^G2532 Pharisees,^G5330 hypocrites!^G5273 for^G3754 ye cleanse^G2511 the outside^G1855 of the cup^G4221 and^G2532 of the platter,^G3953 but^G1161 within^G2081 they are full^G1073 from^G1537 extortion^G724 and^G2532 excess.^G192

all^G3956 these^G5023 evil things^G4190 proceed^G1607 from within,^G2081 and^G2532 defile^G2840 the man.^G444

And^G1161 the Lord^G2962 said^G2036 unto^G4314 him,^G846 Now^{G3568 G2511} ye^G5210 the Pharisees^G5330 cleanse^G2511 the outside^G1855 of the cup^G4221 and^G2532 of the platter;^G4094 but^G1161 your^G5216 inward part^G2081 is full^G1073 of extortion^G724 and^G2532 wickedness.^G4189

for^G3778 this^G3778 my^G3450 son^G5207 was^G2258 dead,^G3498 and^G2532 is alive again;^G2532 he was^G2258 lost,^G622 and^G2532 is found.^G2147 And^G2532 they began^G756 to be merry.^G2165

Thou^G4671 hast^G2076 neither^G3756 part^G3310 nor^G3761 lot^G2819 in^G1722 this^G5129 matter:^G3056 for^G1063 thy^G4675 heart^G2588 is^G2076 not^G3756 right^G2117 before^G1799 God.^G2316

And^G2532 not^G3756 as^G5613 through^G1223 one^G1520 that sinned,^G264 [so] is the gift:^G1434 for^G1063 the judgment^G2917 [came] of^G1537 one^G1520 unto^G1519 condemnation,^G2631 but^G1161 the free gift^G5486 [came] of^G1537 many^G4183 trespasses^G3900 unto^G1519 justification.^G1345

to^G1519 the praise^G1868 of the glory^G1391 of his^G846 grace,^{G5485 G1722} which^G3739 he freely bestowed^G5487 on us^G2248 in^G1722 the Beloved:^G25

Then the lust,^G1939 when^G1534 it hath conceived,^G4815 beareth^G5088 sin:^G266 and^G1161 the sin,^G266 when it is fullgrown,^G658 bringeth forth^G616 death.^G2288
