Sing praises^H2167 to Jehovah,^H3068 who dwelleth^H3427 in Zion:^H6726 Declare^H5046 among the people^H5971 his doings.^H5949

A seed^H2233 shall serve^H5647 him; It shall be told^H5608 of the Lord^H136 unto the [next] generation.^H1755

Then said^H559 Jehovah^H3068 unto Isaiah,^H3470 Go forth^H3318 now to meet^H7125 Ahaz,^H271 thou, and Shear-jashub^H7610 thy son,^H1121 at the end^H7097 of the conduit^H8585 of the upper^H5945 pool,^H1295 in the highway^H4546 of the fuller's^H3526 field;^H7704

And I went^H7126 unto the prophetess;^H5031 and she conceived,^H2029 and bare^H3205 a son.^H1121 Then said^H559 Jehovah^H3068 unto me, Call^H7121 his name^H8034 Maher-shalal-hash-baz.^H4122

What then shall one answer^H6030 the messengers^H4397 of the nation?^H1471 That Jehovah^H3068 hath founded^H3245 Zion,^H6726 and in her shall the afflicted^H6041 of his people^H5971 take refuge.^H2620

Yet it pleased^H2654 Jehovah^H3068 to bruise^H1792 him; he hath put him to grief:^H2470 when thou shalt make^H7760 his soul^H5315 an offering for sin,^H817 he shall see^H7200 [his] seed,^H2233 he shall prolong^H748 his days,^H3117 and the pleasure^H2656 of Jehovah^H3068 shall prosper^H6743 in his hand.^H3027

Hear^H8085 now, O Joshua^H3091 the high^H1419 priest,^H3548 you and your fellows^H7453 that sit^H3427 before^H6440 you; for they are men^H582 that are a sign:^H4159 for, behold, I will bring forth^H935 my servant^H5650 the Branch.^H6780

And^G2532 all^G3956 that heard^G191 it wondered^G2296 at^G4012 the things which^G3588 were spoken^G2980 unto them^G846 by^G5259 the shepherds.^G4314
