TSK · Jeremiah 49:4

Lo, this is the man^H1397 that made^H7760 not God^H430 his strength,^H4581 But trusted^H982 in the abundance^H7230 of his riches,^H6239 And strengthened^H5810 himself in his wickedness.^H1942

The rich man's^H6223 wealth^H1952 is his strong^H5797 city:^H7151 The destruction^H4288 of the poor^H1800 is their poverty.^H7389

And thou saidst,^H559 I shall be mistress^H1404 for ever;^H5769 so that thou didst not lay^H7760 these things to thy heart,^H3820 neither didst remember^H2142 the latter end^H319 thereof.

But they hearkened^H8085 not, nor inclined^H5186 their ear,^H241 but walked^H3212 in [their own] counsels^H4156 [and] in the stubbornness^H8307 of their evil^H7451 heart,^H3820 and went backward,^H268 and not forward.^H6440

Behold, I am against thee, O inhabitant^H3427 of the valley,^H6010 [and] of the rock^H6697 of the plain,^H4334 saith^H5002 Jehovah;^H3068 you that say,^H559 Who shall come down^H5181 against us? or who shall enter^H935 into our habitations?^H4585

As for thy terribleness,^H8606 the pride^H2087 of thy heart^H3820 hath deceived^H5377 thee, O thou that dwellest^H7931 in the clefts^H2288 of the rock,^H5553 that holdest^H8610 the height^H4791 of the hill:^H1389 though thou shouldest make thy nest^H7064 as high^H1361 as the eagle,^H5404 I will bring thee down^H3381 from thence, saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

For Israel^H3478 hath behaved himself stubbornly,^H5637 like a stubborn^H5637 heifer:^H6510 now will Jehovah^H3068 feed^H7462 them as a lamb^H3532 in a large place.^H4800
