To receive^H3947 instruction^H4148 in wise^H7919 dealing, In righteousness^H6664 and justice^H6664 and equity;^H4339

My son,^H1121 if thou wilt receive^H3947 my words,^H561 And lay^H6845 up my commandments^H4687 with thee;

Receive^H3947 my instruction,^H4148 and not silver;^H3701 And knowledge^H1847 rather than choice^H977 gold.^H2742

For^G1063 God^G2316 sent^G649 not^G3756 the^G846 Son^G5207 into^G1519 the world^G2889 to^G2443 judge^G2919 the world;^G2889 but^G235 that^G2443 the world^G2889 should be saved^G4982 through^G1223 him.^G846

^G3767 Simon^G4613 Peter^G4074 answered^G611 him,^G846 Lord,^G2962 to^G4314 whom^G5101 shall we go?^G565 thou hast^G2192 the words^G4487 of^G2222 eternal^G166 life.^G2222

that^G2443 they may all^G3956 be^G5600 one;^G1520 even as^G2531 thou,^G4771 Father,^G3962 [art] in^G1722 me,^G1698 and I^G2504 in^G1722 thee,^G4671 that^G2443 they^G846 also^G2532 may be^{G5600 G1520} in^G1722 us:^G2254 that^G2443 the world^G2889 may believe^G4100 that^G3754 thou^G4771 didst send^G649 me.^G3165

O righteous^G1342 Father,^G2532 the world^{G2889 G1097} knew^G1097 thee^G4571 not,^G3756 but^G1161 I^G1473 knew^G1097 thee;^G4571 and^G2532 these^G3778 knew^G1097 that^G3754 thou^G4771 didst send^G649 me;^G3165

Now^G1161 I make known^G1107 unto you^G5213 brethren,^G80 the gospel^G2098 which^G3739 I preached^G2097 unto you,^G5213 which^G3739 also^G2532 ye received,^G3880 wherein^{G3739 G1722} also^G2532 ye stand,^G2476

And^G2532 he^G846 gave^G1325 some^G3303 [to be] apostles;^G652 and^G1161 some,^G3588 prophets;^G4396 and^G1161 some,^G3588 evangelists;^G2099 and^G1161 some,^G3588 pastors^G4166 and^G2532 teachers;^G1320

Finally^G3063 then,^G3767 brethren,^G80 we beseech^G2065 and^G2532 exhort^G3870 you^G5209 in^G1722 the Lord^G2962 Jesus,^G2424 that, as^G2531 ye received^G3880 of^G3844 us^G2257 how^G4459 ye^G5209 ought^G1163 to walk^G4043 and^G2532 to please^G700 God,^G2316 even as^G2443 ye do walk, — that ye abound^G4052 more and more.^G3123
