And as for them that are left^H7604 of you, I will send^H935 a faintness^H4816 into their heart^H3824 in the lands^H776 of their enemies:^H341 and the sound^H6963 of a driven^H5086 leaf^H5929 shall chase^H7291 them; and they shall flee,^H5127 as one fleeth^H4499 from the sword;^H2719 and they shall fall^H5307 when none pursueth.^H7291

How should one^H259 chase^H7291 a thousand,^H505 And two^H8147 put ten^H7233 thousand^H505 to flight,^H5127 Except^H3808 their Rock^H6697 had sold^H4376 them,^H3588 And Jehovah^H3068 had delivered them up?^H5462

How much more, when wicked^H7563 men^H582 have slain^H2026 a righteous^H6662 person^H376 in his own house^H1004 upon his bed,^H4904 shall I not now require^H1245 his blood^H1818 of your hand,^H3027 and take you away^H1197 from the earth?^H776

But^H637 now thou hast cast [us] off,^H2186 and brought us to dishonor,^H3637 And goest not forth^H3318 with our hosts.^H6635

Out of Zion,^H6726 the perfection^H4359 of beauty,^H3308 God^H430 hath shined^H3313 forth.

If thy children^H1121 will keep^H8104 my covenant^H1285 And my testimony^H5713 that^H2090 I shall teach^H3925 them, Their children^H1121 also shall sit^H3427 upon thy throne^H3678 for evermore.^H5703

And Jehovah^H3068 will create^H1254 over the whole habitation^H4349 of mount^H2022 Zion,^H6726 and over her assemblies,^H4744 a cloud^H6051 and smoke^H6227 by day,^H3119 and the shining^H5051 of a flaming^H3852 fire^H784 by night;^H3915 for over all the glory^H3519 [shall be spread] a covering.^H2646

Say^H559 thou unto the king^H4428 and to the queen-mother,^H1377 Humble^H8213 yourselves, sit down;^H3427 for your headtires^H4761 are come down,^H3381 even the crown^H5850 of your glory.^H8597

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 the God^H430 of Israel,^H3478 unto all the captivity, whom I have caused to be carried away^H1540 captive^H1473 from Jerusalem^H3389 unto Babylon:^H894

Kerioth^H7152 is taken,^H3920 and the strongholds^H4679 are seized,^H3920 and the heart^H3820 of the mighty men^H1368 of Moab^H4124 at that day^H3117 shall be as the heart^H3820 of a woman^H802 in her pangs.^H6887

Then a breach^H1234 was made in the city,^H5892 and all the men^H582 of war^H4421 fled,^H1272 and went forth^H3318 out^H3318 of the city^H5892 by night^H3915 by the way^H1870 of the gate^H8179 between the two walls,^H2346 which was by the king's^H4428 garden;^H1588 (now the Chaldeans^H3778 were against the city^H5892 round about;)^H5439 and they went^H3212 toward the Arabah.^H6160

and he burned^H8313 the house^H1004 of Jehovah,^H3068 and the king's^H4428 house;^H1004 and all the houses^H1004 of Jerusalem,^H3389 even every great^H1419 house,^H1004 burned^H8313 he with fire.^H784

As for the beauty^H6643 of his ornament,^H5716 he set^H7760 it in majesty;^H1347 but they made^H6213 the images^H6754 of their abominations^H8441 [and] their detestable things^H8251 therein: therefore have I made^H5414 it unto them as an unclean^H5079 thing.

Speak^H559 unto the house^H1004 of Israel,^H3478 Thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H3069 Behold, I will profane^H2490 my sanctuary,^H4720 the pride^H1347 of your power,^H5797 the desire^H4261 of your eyes,^H5869 and that which your soul^H5315 pitieth;^H4263 and your sons^H1121 and your daughters^H1323 whom ye have left^H5800 behind shall fall^H5307 by the sword.^H2719

Sing,^H7442 O daughter^H1323 of Zion;^H6726 shout,^H7321 O Israel;^H3478 be glad^H8055 and rejoice^H5937 with all the heart,^H3820 O daughter^H1323 of Jerusalem.^H3389
