Woe^H1945 to the rebellious^H5637 children,^H1121 saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 that take^H6213 counsel,^H6098 but not of me; and that make^H5258 a league,^H4541 but not of my Spirit,^H7307 that they may add^H5595 sin^H2403 to sin,^H2403

And thou wentest^H7788 to the king^H4428 with oil,^H8081 and didst increase^H7235 thy perfumes,^H7547 and didst send^H7971 thine ambassadors^H6735 far off,^H7350 and didst debase^H8213 thyself even unto Sheol.^H7585

Why gaddest thou about^H235 so much^H3966 to change^H8138 thy way?^H1870 thou shalt be ashamed^H954 of Egypt^H4714 also, as thou wast ashamed^H954 of Assyria.^H804

Shout^H7321 against her round about:^H5439 she hath submitted^H5414 herself;^H3027 her bulwarks^H803 are fallen,^H5307 her walls^H2346 are thrown down;^H2040 for it is the vengeance^H5360 of Jehovah:^H3068 take vengeance^H5358 upon her; as she hath done,^H6213 do^H6213 unto her.

For he hath despised^H959 the oath^H423 by breaking^H6565 the covenant;^H1285 and behold, he had given^H5414 his hand,^H3027 and yet hath done^H6213 all these things; he shall not escape.^H4422

And Ephraim^H669 is like a silly^H6601 dove,^H3123 without understanding:^H3820 they call^H7121 unto Egypt,^H4714 they go^H1980 to Assyria.^H804

Ephraim^H669 feedeth^H7462 on wind,^H7307 and followeth^H7291 after the east wind:^H6921 he continually^H3117 multiplieth^H7235 lies^H3577 and desolation;^H7701 and they make^H3772 a covenant^H1285 with Assyria,^H804 and oil^H8081 is carried^H2986 into Egypt.^H4714
