And he said^H559 unto them, This is that which Jehovah^H3068 hath spoken,^H1696 To-morrow^H4279 is a solemn rest,^H7677 a holy^H6944 sabbath^H7676 unto Jehovah:^H3068 bake^H644 that which ye will bake,^H644 and boil^H1310 that which ye will boil;^H1310 and all that^H3605 remaineth over^H5736 lay up^H3240 for you to be kept^H4931 until the morning.^H1242

So the people^H5971 rested^H7673 on the seventh^H7637 day.^H3117

Six^H8337 days^H3117 thou shalt do^H6213 thy work,^H4639 and on the seventh^H7637 day^H3117 thou shalt rest;^H7673 that thine ox^H7794 and thine ass^H2543 may have rest,^H5117 and the son^H1121 of thy handmaid,^H519 and the sojourner,^H1616 may be refreshed.^H5314

Six^H8337 days^H3117 thou shalt work,^H5647 but on the seventh^H7637 day^H3117 thou shalt rest:^H7673 in plowing time^H2758 and in harvest^H7105 thou shalt rest.^H7673

Ye shall fear^H3372 every man^H376 his mother,^H517 and his father;^H1 and ye shall keep^H8104 my sabbaths:^H7676 I am Jehovah^H3068 your God.^H430

Blessed^H835 is the man^H582 that doeth^H6213 this, and the son^H1121 of man^H120 that holdeth^H2388 it fast; that keepeth^H8104 the sabbath^H7676 from profaning^H2490 it, and keepeth^H8104 his hand^H3027 from doing^H6213 any evil.^H7451

If thou turn away^H7725 thy foot^H7272 from the sabbath,^H7676 from doing^H6213 thy pleasure^H2656 on my holy^H6944 day;^H3117 and call^H7121 the sabbath^H7676 a delight,^H6027 [and] the holy^H6918 of Jehovah^H3068 honorable;^H3513 and shalt honor^H3513 it, not doing^H6213 thine own ways,^H1870 nor finding^H4672 thine own pleasure,^H2656 nor speaking^H1696 [thine own] words:^H1697

And^G1161 they returned,^G5290 and prepared^G2090 spices^G759 and^G2532 ointments.^G3464 And^G2532 on the^G3303 sabbath they^G3303 rested^G2270 according to^G2596 the commandment.^G1785
