and I will put^H7896 enmity^H342 between thee and the woman,^H802 and between thy seed^H2233 and her seed:^H2233 he shall bruise^H7779 thy head,^H7218 and thou shalt bruise^H7779 his heel.^H6119

The kings^H4428 of the earth^H776 set^H3320 themselves, And the rulers^H7336 take counsel^H3245 together,^H3162 Against Jehovah,^H3068 and against his anointed,^H4899 [saying],

Jehovah^H3068 is nigh^H7138 unto them that are of a broken^H7665 heart,^H3820 And saveth^H3467 such as are of a contrite^H1793 spirit.^H7307

The sacrifices^H2077 of God^H430 are a broken^H7665 spirit:^H7307 A broken^H7665 and contrite^H1794 heart,^H3820 O God,^H430 thou wilt not despise.^H959

Such as sat^H3427 in darkness^H2822 and in the shadow of death,^H6757 Being bound^H615 in affliction^H6040 and iron,^H1270

He healeth^H7495 the broken^H7665 in heart,^H3820 And bindeth up^H2280 their wounds.^H6094

And in that day^H3117 shall the deaf^H2795 hear^H8085 the words^H1697 of the book,^H5612 and the eyes^H5869 of the blind^H5787 shall see^H7200 out of obscurity^H652 and out of darkness.^H2822

Then the eyes^H5869 of the blind^H5787 shall be opened,^H6491 and the ears^H241 of the deaf^H2795 shall be unstopped.^H6605

to open^H6491 the blind^H5787 eyes,^H5869 to bring out^H3318 the prisoners^H616 from the dungeon,^H4525 and them that sit^H3427 in darkness^H2822 out of the ^H3608 prison-house.^H1004

I have raised him up^H5782 in righteousness,^H6664 and I will make straight^H3474 all his ways:^H1870 he shall build^H1129 my city,^H5892 and he shall let my exiles^H1546 go^H7971 free, not for price^H4242 nor reward,^H7810 saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts.^H6635

Shall the prey^H4455 be taken^H3947 from the mighty,^H1368 or the lawful^H6662 captives^H7628 be delivered?^H4422

Shake^H5287 thyself from the dust;^H6083 arise,^H6965 sit^H3427 [on thy throne], O Jerusalem:^H3389 loose^H6605 thyself from the bonds^H4147 of thy neck,^H6677 O captive^H7628 daughter^H1323 of Zion.^H6726

And as for me, this is my covenant^H1285 with them, saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 my Spirit^H7307 that is upon thee, and my words^H1697 which I have put^H7760 in thy mouth,^H6310 shall not depart^H4185 out of thy mouth,^H6310 nor out of the mouth^H6310 of thy seed,^H2233 nor out of the mouth^H6310 of thy seed's^H2233 seed,^H2233 saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 from henceforth and for^H5704 ever.^H5769

For all these things hath my hand^H3027 made,^H6213 and [so] all these things came to be, saith^H5002 Jehovah:^H3068 but to this man will I look,^H5027 even to him that is poor^H6041 and of a contrite^H5223 spirit,^H7307 and that trembleth^H2730 at my word.^H1697

Seventy^H7657 weeks^H7620 are decreed^H2852 upon thy people^H5971 and upon thy holy^H6944 city,^H5892 to finish^H3607 transgression,^H6588 and to make an end^H8552 of sins,^H2403 and to make reconciliation^H3722 for iniquity,^H5771 and to bring in^H935 everlasting^H5769 righteousness,^H6664 and to seal up^H2856 vision^H2377 and prophecy,^H5030 and to anoint^H4886 the most^H6944 holy.^H6944

As for thee also, because of the blood^H1818 of thy covenant^H1285 I have set free^H7971 thy prisoners^H615 from the pit^H953 wherein is no water.^H4325

But unto you that fear^H3373 my name^H8034 shall the sun^H8121 of righteousness^H6666 arise^H2224 with healing^H4832 in its wings;^H3671 and ye shall go forth,^H3318 and gambol^H6335 as calves^H5695 of the stall.^H4770

Blessed^G3107 are the poor^G4434 in spirit:^G4151 for^G3754 theirs^G846 is^G2076 the kingdom^G932 of heaven.^G3772

the blind^G5185 receive their sight,^G308 and^G2532 the lame^G5560 walk,^G4043 the lepers^G3015 are cleansed,^G2511 and^G2532 the deaf^G2974 hear,^G191 and the dead^G3498 are raised up,^G1453 and^G2532 the poor^G4434 have good tidings preached to them.^G2097

And^G2532 he^G846 lifted up^G1869 his^G846 eyes^G3788 on^G1519 his^G846 disciples,^G3101 and said,^G3004 Blessed^G3107 [are] ye poor:^G4434 for^G3754 yours^G5212 is^G2076 the kingdom^G932 of God.^G2316

He^G3778 findeth^G2147 first^G4413 his own^G2398 brother^G80 Simon,^G4613 and^G2532 saith^G3004 unto him,^G846 We have found^G2147 the Messiah^G3323 (which^G3739 is,^G2076 being interpreted,^G3177 Christ).^G5547

to open^G455 their^G846 eyes,^G3788 that^G3588 they may turn^G1994 from^G575 darkness^G4655 to^G1519 light^G5457 and^G2532 from the power^G1849 of Satan^G4567 unto^G1909 God,^G2316 that they^G846 may receive^G2983 remission^G859 of sins^G266 and^G2532 an inheritance^G2819 among^G1722 them that^G3588 are sanctified^G37 by faith^G4102 in^G1519 me.^G1691

who^G3739 delivered^G4506 us^G2248 out^G1537 of the power^G1849 of darkness,^G4655 and^G2532 translated^G3179 us into^G1519 the kingdom^G932 of the Son^G5207 of his^G846 love;^G26

Hearken,^G191 my^G3450 beloved^G27 brethren;^G80 did^G1586 not^G3756 God^G2316 choose^G1586 them that are poor^G4434 as to the^G5127 world^G2889 [to be] rich^G4145 in^G1722 faith,^G4102 and^G2532 heirs^G2818 of the kingdom^G932 which^G3739 he promised^G1861 to them that^G3588 love^G25 him?^G846

Again,^G3825 a^G1785 new^G2537 commandment^G1785 write^G1125 I unto you,^G5213 which thing^G3739 is^G2076 true^G227 in^G1722 him^G846 and^G2532 in^G1722 you;^G5213 because^G3754 the darkness^G4653 is passing^G3855 away, and^G2532 the^G5457 true^G228 light^G5457 already^G2235 shineth.^G5316
