because all those men^H582 that have seen^H7200 my glory,^H3519 and my signs,^H226 which I wrought^H6213 in Egypt^H4714 and in the wilderness,^H4057 yet have tempted^H5254 me these ten^H6235 times,^H6471 and have not hearkened^H8085 to my voice;^H6963

And Jehovah's^H3068 anger^H639 was kindled^H2734 against Israel,^H3478 and he made them wander^H5128 to and fro in the wilderness^H4057 forty^H705 years,^H8141 until all the generation,^H1755 that had done^H6213 evil^H7451 in the sight^H5869 of Jehovah,^H3068 was consumed.^H8552

That the generation^H1755 to come^H314 might know^H3045 [them], even the children^H1121 that should be born;^H3205 Who should arise^H6965 and tell^H5608 [them] to their children,^H1121

They forgat^H7911 God^H410 their Saviour,^H3467 Who had done^H6213 great things^H1419 in Egypt,^H4714

And afterward^G5305 he was manifested^G5319 unto the eleven^G1733 themselves as they^G846 sat at meat;^G345 and^G2532 he upbraided^G3679 them with their^G846 unbelief^G570 and^G2532 hardness of heart,^G4641 because^G3754 they believed^G4100 not^G3756 them that^G3588 had seen^G2300 him^G846 after he was risen.^G1453
