and it shall be, if the wicked man^H7563 be worthy^H1121 to be beaten,^H5221 that the judge^H8199 shall cause him to lie down,^H5307 and to be beaten^H5221 before his face,^H6440 according^H1767 to his wickedness,^H7564 by number.^H4557

but^G1161 I^G1473 say^G3004 unto you,^G5213 that^G3754 every^G3956 one who is angry^G3710 with^G80 his^G846 brother^G80 shall be^G2071 in danger^G1777 of the judgment;^G2920 and^G1161 whosoever^G3739 shall say^G2036 to^G80 his^G846 brother,^G80 Raca,^G4469 shall be^G2071 in danger^G1777 of the council;^G4892 and whosoever^G3739 shall say,^G2036 Thou fool,^G3474 shall be^G2071 in danger^G1777 of the hell^G1067 of^G1519 fire.^G4442

Therefore,^G5124 behold,^G2400 I^G1473 send^G649 unto^G4314 you^G5209 prophets,^G4396 and^G2532 wise men,^G4680 and^G2532 scribes:^G1122 some of^G1537 them^G846 shall ye kill^G615 and^G2532 crucify;^G4717 and^G2532 some of^G1537 them^G846 shall ye scourge^G3146 in^G1722 your^G5216 synagogues,^G4864 and^G2532 persecute^G1377 from^G575 city^G4172 to^G1519 city:^G4172

Now^G1161 the chief priests^G749 and^G2532 the whole^G3650 council^G4892 sought^G2212 false witness^G5577 against^G2596 Jesus,^G2424 that^G3704 they might put^G2289 him^G846 to death;^G2289

And^G2532 brother^G80 shall deliver^G3860 up brother^G80 to^G1519 death,^G2288 and^G2532 the father^G3962 his child;^G5043 and^G2532 children^G5043 shall rise up^G1881 against^G1909 parents,^G1118 and^G2532 cause^G2289 them^G846 to be put to death.^G2289

But^G1161 before^G4253 all^G537 these^G5130 things, they shall lay^G1911 their^G846 hands^G5495 on^G1909 you,^G5209 and^G2532 shall persecute^G1377 you, delivering^G3860 you up^G3860 to^G1519 the synagogues^G4864 and^G2532 prisons,^G5438 bringing^G71 you before^G1909 kings^G935 and^G2532 governors^G2232 for^G1752 my^G3450 name's sake.^G3686

They shall put^G4160 you^G5209 out of the synagogues:^G656 yea,^G235 the hour^G5610 cometh,^G2064 that^G2443 whosoever^G3956 killeth^G615 you^G5209 shall think^G1380 that he offereth^G4374 service^G2999 unto God.^G2316

Then^G5119 went^G565 the captain^G4755 with^G4862 the officers,^G5257 and^G5119 brought^G71 them,^G846 [but] without^{G3326 G3756} violence;^G970 for^G1063 they feared^G5399 the people,^G2443 lest^G3361 they should be stoned.^G3034
