And Saul^H7586 said,^H559 There shall not a man^H376 be put to death^H4191 this day;^H3117 for to-day^H3117 Jehovah^H3068 hath wrought^H6213 deliverance^H8668 in Israel.^H3478

And the king^H4428 called^H7121 for Jehoiada^H3077 the chief,^H7218 and said^H559 unto him, Why hast thou not required^H1875 of the Levites^H3881 to bring in^H935 out of Judah^H3063 and out of Jerusalem^H3389 the tax^H4864 of Moses^H4872 the servant^H5650 of Jehovah,^H3068 and of the assembly^H6951 of Israel,^H3478 for the tent^H168 of the testimony?^H5715

When he slew^H2026 them, then they inquired^H1875 after him; And they returned^H7725 and sought God^H410 earnestly.^H7836

Yet they seek^H1875 me daily,^H3117 and delight^H2654 to know^H1847 my ways:^H1870 as a nation^H1471 that did^H6213 righteousness,^H6666 and forsook^H5800 not the ordinance^H4941 of their God,^H430 they ask^H7592 of me righteous^H4941 judgments;^H6664 they delight^H2654 to draw near^H7132 unto God.^H430

and others^G243 fell^G4098 upon^G1909 the rocky places,^G4075 where^G3699 they had^G2192 not^G3756 much^G4183 earth:^G1093 and^G2532 straightway^G2532 they sprang up,^G1816 because^G1223 they had^G2192 no^G3361 deepness^G899 of earth:^G1093

for^G1063 Herod^G2264 feared^G5399 John,^G2491 knowing^G1492 that he^G846 was a righteous^G1342 and^G2532 holy^G40 man,^G435 and^G2532 kept^G4933 him^G846 safe. And^G2532 when he heard^G191 him,^G846 he was much^G4183 perplexed;^G4160 and^G2532 he heard^G191 him^G846 gladly.^G2234
