At^G1722 that^G1565 season^G2540 Jesus^G2424 answered^G611 and said,^G2036 I thank^G1843 thee,^G4671 O Father,^G3962 Lord^G2962 of heaven^G3772 and^G2532 earth,^G1093 that^G3754 you did hide^G613 these things^G5023 from^G575 the wise^G4680 and^G2532 understanding,^G4908 and^G2532 did reveal^G601 them^G846 unto babes:^G3516

In^G1722 that^G846 same hour^G5610 he^G2424 rejoiced^G21 in the Holy Spirit,^G4151 and^G2532 said,^G2036 I thank^G1843 thee,^G4671 O Father,^G3962 Lord^G2962 of heaven^G3772 and^G2532 earth,^G1093 that^G3754 thou didst hide^G613 these things^G5023 from^G575 the wise^G4680 and^G2532 understanding,^G4680 and^G2532 didst reveal^G601 them^G846 unto babes:^G3516 yea,^G3483 Father;^G3962 for^G3754 so^G3483 it was^G1096 well-pleasing^G2107 in^G1715 thy^G4675 sight.^G1715

I manifested^G5319 thy^G4675 name^G3686 unto the men^G444 whom^G3739 thou gavest^G1325 me^G3427 out of^G1537 the world:^G2889 thine^G4674 they were,^G2258 and^G2532 thou gavest^G1325 them^G846 to me;^G1698 and^G2532 they have kept^G5083 thy^G4675 word.^G3056

but^G235 as^G2531 it is written,^G1125 Things which ^G3739 eye^G3788 saw^G1492 not,^G3756 and^{G2532 G3756} ear^G3775 heard^G191 not, And^G2532 [which] entered^G305 not^G3756 into^G1909 the heart^G2588 of man,^G444 Whatsoever^G3739 things God^G2316 prepared^G2090 for them^G3588 that love^G25 him.^G846

For^G1161 I make known^G1107 to you,^G5213 brethren,^G80 as touching^G3588 the gospel^G2098 which^G3588 was preached^G2097 by^G5259 me,^G1700 that^G3754 it is^G2076 not^G3756 after^G2596 man.^G444

that^G2443 the God^G2316 of our^G2257 Lord^G2962 Jesus^G2424 Christ,^G5547 the Father^G3962 of glory,^G1391 may give^G1325 unto you^G5213 a spirit^G4151 of wisdom^G4678 and^G2532 revelation^G602 in^G1722 the knowledge^G1922 of him;^G846

which^G3739 in^G1722 other^G2087 generations^G1074 was^G1107 not^G3756 made known^G1107 unto the sons^G5207 of men,^G444 as^G5613 it hath^G601 now^G3568 been revealed^G601 unto^G3588 his^G846 holy^G40 apostles^G652 and^G2532 prophets^G4396 in^G1722 the Spirit;^G4151

For^G3754 our^G2254 wrestling^G3823 is^G2076 not^G3756 against^G4314 flesh^G4561 and^G2532 blood,^G129 but^G235 against^G4314 the principalities,^G746 against^G4314 the powers,^G1849 against^G4314 the world -^G165 rulers^G2888 of this^G5127 darkness,^G4655 against^G4314 the spiritual^G4152 [hosts] of wickedness^G4189 in^G1722 the heavenly^G2032 [places].

Since^G1893 then^G3767 the^G1893 children^G3813 are sharers^G2841 in flesh^G4561 and^G2532 blood,^G129 he^G3348 also^G2532 himself^G846 in like manner^G3898 partook^G3348 of the same;^G846 that^G2443 through^G1223 death^G2288 he might bring to nought^G2673 him that had^G2192 the power^G2904 of death,^G2288 that^G5124 is,^G2076 the devil;^G1228

The elders^{G4245 G3588} among^G1722 you^G5213 I exhort,^G3870 who^G3588 am a fellow-elder,^G4850 and^G2532 a witness^G3144 of the sufferings^G3804 of Christ,^G5547 who am also^G2532 a partaker^G2844 of the glory^G1391 that shall^G3195 be revealed:^G601

And^G1161 we know^G1492 that^G3754 the Son^G5207 of God^G2316 is come,^G2240 and^G2532 hath given^G1325 us^G2254 an understanding,^G1271 that^G2443 we know^G1097 him that is true,^G228 and^G2532 we are^G2070 in^G1722 him that is true,^G228 [even] in^G1722 his^G846 Son^G5207 Jesus^G2424 Christ.^G5547 This^G3778 is^G2076 the true^G228 God,^G2316 and^G2532 eternal^G166 life.^G2222
