And Moses^H4872 said^H559 unto Aaron,^H175 and unto Eleazar^H499 and unto Ithamar,^H385 his sons,^H1121 Let not the hair of your heads^H7218 go loose,^H6544 neither rend^H6533 your clothes;^H899 that ye die^H4191 not, and that he be not wroth^H7107 with all the congregation:^H5712 but let your brethren,^H251 the whole house^H1004 of Israel,^H3478 bewail^H1058 the burning^H8316 which Jehovah^H3068 hath kindled.^H8313

And they shall keep^H8104 his charge,^H4931 and the charge^H4931 of the whole congregation^H5712 before^H6440 the tent^H168 of meeting,^H4150 to do^H5647 the service^H5656 of the tabernacle.^H4908

And I have given^H5414 the Levites^H3881 as a gift^H5414 to Aaron^H175 and to his sons^H1121 from among^H8432 the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 to do^H5647 the service^H5656 of the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 in the tent^H168 of meeting,^H4150 and to make atonement^H3722 for the children^H1121 of Israel;^H3478 that there be no plague^H5063 among the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 when the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 come nigh^H5066 unto the sanctuary.^H6944

but shall minister^H8334 with their brethren^H251 in the tent^H168 of meeting,^H4150 to keep^H8104 the charge,^H4931 and shall do^H5647 no service.^H5656 Thus shalt thou do^H5647 unto the Levites^H3881 touching their charges.^H4931

And Moses^H4872 said^H559 unto Aaron,^H175 Take^H3947 thy censer,^H4289 and put^H5414 fire^H784 therein from off^H6440 the altar,^H4196 and lay^H7760 incense^H7004 thereon, and carry^H3212 it quickly^H4120 unto the congregation,^H5712 and make atonement^H3722 for them: for there is wrath^H7110 gone out^H3318 from Jehovah;^H3068 the plague^H5063 is begun.^H2490

And they shall keep^H8104 thy charge,^H4931 and the charge^H4931 of all the Tent:^H168 only they shall not come nigh^H7126 unto the vessels^H3627 of the sanctuary^H6944 and unto the altar,^H4196 that they die^H4191 not, neither they, nor ye.

And of the children^H1121 of Israel's^H3478 half,^H4276 thou shalt take^H3947 one^H259 drawn^H270 out of every fifty,^H2572 of the persons,^H120 of the oxen,^H1241 of the asses,^H2543 and of the flocks,^H6629 [even] of all the cattle,^H929 and give^H5414 them unto the Levites,^H3881 that keep^H8104 the charge^H4931 of the tabernacle^H4908 of Jehovah.^H3068

And he smote^H5221 of the men^H376 of Beth-shemesh,^H1053 because they had looked^H7200 into the ark^H727 of Jehovah,^H3068 he smote^H5221 of the people^H5971 seventy men,^H582 [and] fifty^H2572 thousand^H505 men;^H582 and the people^H582 mourned,^H56 because Jehovah^H3068 had smitten^H5221 the people^H5971 with a great^H1419 slaughter.^H4347

But as for us, Jehovah^H3068 is our God,^H430 and we have not forsaken^H5800 him; and [we have] priests^H3548 ministering^H8334 unto Jehovah,^H3068 the sons^H1121 of Aaron,^H175 and the Levites^H3881 in their work:^H4399

the prophets^H5030 prophesy^H5012 falsely,^H8267 and the priests^H3548 bear rule^H7287 by their means;^H3027 and my people^H5971 love^H157 to have it so: and what will ye do^H6213 in the end^H319 thereof?

Take heed^{G4337 G3767} unto yourselves,^G1438 and^G2532 to all^G3956 the flock,^G4168 in^G1722 which^G3739 the Holy^G40 Spirit^G4151 hath made^G5087 you^G5209 bishops,^G1985 to feed^G4165 the church^G1577 of the Lord^G2316 which^G3739 he purchased^G4046 with^G1223 his own^G2398 blood.^G129

preach^G2784 the word;^G3056 be urgent^G2186 in season,^G2122 out of season;^G171 reprove,^G1651 rebuke,^G2008 exhort,^G3870 with^G1722 all^G3956 longsuffering^G3115 and^G2532 teaching.^G1322
