And when the voice^H6963 of the trumpet^H7782 waxed^H6963 louder^H1980 and^H2390 louder,^H2390 Moses^H4872 spake,^H1696 and God^H430 answered^H6030 him by a voice.^H6963

and they saw^H7200 the God^H430 of Israel;^H3478 and there was under his feet^H7272 as it were a paved^H3840 work^H4639 of sapphire stone,^H5601 and as it were the very^H6106 heaven^H8064 for clearness.^H2892

And he said,^H559 I will make all my goodness^H2898 pass^H5674 before thee, and will proclaim^H7121 the name^H8034 of Jehovah^H3068 before^H6440 thee; and I will be gracious^H2603 to whom I will be gracious,^H2603 and will show mercy^H7355 on whom I will show mercy.^H7355

And Jehovah^H3068 descended^H3381 in the cloud,^H6051 and stood^H3320 with him there, and proclaimed^H7121 the name^H8034 of Jehovah.^H3068

And when Aaron^H175 and all the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 saw^H7200 Moses,^H4872 behold, the skin^H5785 of his face^H6440 shone;^H7160 and they were afraid^H3372 to come nigh^H5066 him.

and they will tell^H559 it to the inhabitants^H3427 of this land.^H776 They have heard^H8085 that thou Jehovah^H3068 art in the midst^H7130 of this people;^H5971 for thou Jehovah^H3068 art seen^H7200 face^H5869 to face,^H5869 and thy cloud^H6051 standeth^H5975 over them, and thou goest^H1980 before^H6440 them, in a pillar^H5982 of cloud^H6051 by day,^H3119 and in a pillar^H5982 of fire^H784 by night.^H3915

Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 will raise up^H6965 unto thee a prophet^H5030 from the midst^H7130 of thee, of thy brethren,^H251 like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;^H8085

As for me, I shall behold^H2372 thy face^H6440 in righteousness;^H6664 I shall be satisfied,^H7646 when I awake,^H6974 with [beholding] thy form.^H8544

To whom then will ye liken^H1819 God?^H410 or what likeness^H1823 will ye compare^H6186 unto him?

Son^H1121 of man,^H120 put forth^H2330 a riddle,^H2420 and speak^H4911 a parable^H4912 unto the house^H1004 of Israel;^H3478

that^G3704 it might be fulfilled^G4137 which was spoken^G4483 through^G1223 the prophet,^G4396 saying,^G3004 I will open^G455 my^G3450 mouth^G4750 in^G1722 parables;^G3850 I will utter^G2044 things hidden^G2928 from^G575 the foundation^G2602 of the world.^G2889

No man^G3762 hath seen^G3708 God^G2316 at any time;^G4455 the only begotten^G3439 Son,^G5207 who^G3588 is^G5607 in^G1519 the bosom^G2859 of the Father,^G3962 he^G1565 hath declared^G1834 [him].

No^G3765 longer do I call^G3004 you^G5209 servants;^G1401 for^G3754 the servant^G1401 knoweth^G1492 not^G3756 what^G5101 his^G846 lord^G2962 doeth:^G4160 but^G1161 I have called^G2046 you^G5209 friends;^G5384 for^G3754 all things^G3956 that^G3739 I heard^G191 from^G3844 my^G3450 Father,^G3962 I have made known^G1107 unto you.^G5213

For^G1063 now^G737 we see^G991 in^G1223 a mirror,^G1722 darkly;^G135 but^G1161 then^G5119 face^G4383 to^G4314 face:^G4383 now^G737 I know^G1097 in^G1537 part;^G3313 but^G1161 then^G5119 shall I know^G1921 fully even as^G2531 also^G2532 I was fully known.^G1921

in^G1722 whom^G3739 the god^G2316 of this^G5127 world^G165 hath blinded^{G5186 G1519} the minds^G3540 of the unbelieving,^G571 that^G3361 the light^G5462 of the gospel^G2098 of the glory^G1391 of Christ,^G5547 who^G3739 is^G2076 the image^G1504 of God,^G2316 should not dawn^G826 [upon them].^G846

Therefore^G5105 he^G114 that rejecteth,^G114 rejecteth^G114 not^G3756 man,^G444 but^G235 God,^G2316 who^G3588 giveth^G1325 his^G846 Holy^G40 Spirit^G4151 unto^G1519 you.^G2248

who^G3739 being^G5607 the effulgence^G541 of^G1391 his glory,^G1391 and^G2532 the very image^G5481 of^G5287 his^G846 substance,^G5287 and^G5037 upholding^G5342 all things^G3956 by the word^G4487 of^G1411 his^G846 power,^G1411 when he had^{G4160 G1223 G1438} made purification^G2512 of^G2257 sins,^G266 sat down^G2523 on^G1722 the right hand^G1188 of the Majesty^G3172 on^G1722 high;^G5308

Yet in like^G3668 manner these^G3778 also^G2532 in their dreamings^G1797 defile^G3392 the flesh,^G4561 and^G1161 set at nought dominion,^G2963 and^G1161 rail^G987 at dignities.^G1161
