For he will turn away^H5493 thy son^H1121 from following^H310 me, that they may serve^H5647 other^H312 gods:^H430 so will the anger^H639 of Jehovah^H3068 be kindled^H2734 against you, and he will destroy^H8045 thee quickly.^H4118

that ye come^H935 not among these nations,^H1471 these that remain^H7604 among you; neither make mention^H2142 of the name^H8034 of their gods,^H430 nor cause to swear^H7650 [by them], neither serve^H5647 them, nor bow^H7812 down yourselves unto them;

know^H3045 for a certainty^H3045 that Jehovah^H3068 your God^H430 will no more^H3254 drive these nations^H1471 from out^H3423 of your sight;^H6440 but they shall be a snare^H6341 and a trap^H4170 unto you, and a scourge^H7850 in your sides,^H6654 and thorns^H6796 in your eyes,^H5869 until ye perish^H6 from off this good^H2896 land^H127 which Jehovah^H3068 your God^H430 hath given^H5414 you.

Wherefore I also said,^H559 I will not drive them out^H1644 from before^H6440 you; but they shall be [as thorns] in your sides,^H6654 and their gods^H430 shall be a snare^H4170 unto you.

And there shall be no more a pricking^H3992 brier^H5544 unto the house^H1004 of Israel,^H3478 nor a hurting^H3510 thorn^H6975 of any that are round about^H5439 them, that did despite^H7590 unto them; and they shall know^H3045 that I am the Lord^H136 Jehovah.^H3069
