For whom Jehovah^H3068 loveth^H157 he reproveth;^H3198 Even as a father^H1 the son^H1121 in whom he delighteth.^H7521

Chasten^H3256 thy son,^H1121 seeing there is^H3426 hope;^H8615 And set not thy^H5315 heart^H5375 on his destruction.^H4191

Withhold^H4513 not correction^H4148 from the child;^H5288 [For] if thou beat^H5221 him with the rod,^H7626 he will not die.^H4191

Correct^H3256 thy son,^H1121 and he will give thee rest;^H5117 Yea, he will give^H5414 delight^H4574 unto thy soul.^H5315
