And Tilgath-pilneser^H8407 king^H4428 of Assyria^H804 came^H935 unto him, and distressed^H6696 him, but strengthened^H2388 him not.

To him that is ready^H4523 to faint kindness^H2617 [should be showed] from his friend;^H7453 Even to him that forsaketh^H5800 the fear^H3374 of the Almighty.^H7706

They were put to shame^H954 because they had hoped;^H982 They came^H935 thither, and were confounded.^H2659

Therefore shall the strength^H4581 of Pharaoh^H6547 be your shame,^H1322 and the refuge^H2622 in the shadow^H6738 of Egypt^H4714 your confusion.^H3639

Behold, thou trustest^H982 upon the staff^H4938 of this bruised^H7533 reed,^H7070 even upon Egypt,^H4714 whereon if a man^H376 lean,^H5564 it will go^H935 into his hand,^H3709 and pierce^H5344 it: so is Pharaoh^H6547 king^H4428 of Egypt^H4714 to all that trust^H982 on him.
