Receive,^H3947 I pray thee, the law^H8451 from his mouth,^H6310 And lay up^H7760 his words^H561 in thy heart.^H3824

My son,^H1121 if thou wilt receive^H3947 my words,^H561 And lay^H6845 up my commandments^H4687 with thee;

Her feet^H7272 go down^H3381 to death;^H4194 Her steps^H6806 take hold^H8551 on Sheol;^H7585

Wise^H2450 men lay up^H6845 knowledge;^H1847 But the mouth^H6310 of the foolish^H191 is a present^H7138 destruction.^H4288

But^G1161 he^G846 said,^G2036 Yea rather,^G3304 blessed^G3107 are they that hear^G191 the word^G3056 of God,^G2316 and^G2532 keep^G5442 it.^G846

Remember^G3421 the word^G3056 that^G3739 I^G1473 said^G2036 unto you,^G5213 A servant^G1401 is^G2076 not^G3756 greater than^G3187 his^G846 lord.^G2962 If^G1487 they persecuted^G1377 me,^G1691 they will^G1377 also^G2532 persecute^G1377 you;^G5209 if^G1487 they kept^G5083 my^G3450 word,^G3056 they will keep^G5083 yours^G5212 also.^G2532
