TSK · Zechariah 7:5

But it came to pass in the seventh^H7637 month,^H2320 that Ishmael^H3458 the son^H1121 of Nethaniah,^H5418 the son^H1121 of Elishama,^H476 of the seed^H2233 royal,^H4410 came,^H935 and ten^H6235 men^H582 with him, and smote^H5221 Gedaliah,^H1436 so that he died,^H4191 and the Jews^H3064 and the Chaldeans^H3778 that were with him at Mizpah.^H4709

Wherefore have we fasted,^H6684 [say they], and thou seest^H7200 not? [wherefore] have we afflicted^H6031 our soul,^H5315 and thou takest no knowledge?^H3045 Behold, in the day^H3117 of your fast^H6685 ye find^H4672 [your own] pleasure,^H2656 and exact^H5065 all your labors.^H6092

And this whole land^H776 shall be a desolation,^H2723 and an astonishment;^H8047 and these nations^H1471 shall serve^H5647 the king^H4428 of Babylon^H894 seventy^H7657 years.^H8141

Then the angel^H4397 of Jehovah^H3068 answered^H6030 and said,^H559 O Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 how long wilt thou not have mercy^H7355 on Jerusalem^H3389 and on the cities^H5892 of Judah,^H3063 against which thou hast had indignation^H2194 these threescore and ten^H7657 years?^H8141

And when ye eat,^H398 and when ye drink,^H8354 do not ye eat^H398 for yourselves, and drink^H8354 for yourselves?

Even so^G3779 let your^G5216 light^G5457 shine^G2989 before^G1715 men;^G444 that^G3704 they may see^G1492 your^G5216 good^G2570 works,^G2041 and^G2532 glorify^G1392 your^G5216 Father^G3962 who is^G3588 in^G1722 heaven.^G3772

And^G2532 when^G3752 ye pray,^G4336 ye shall not^G3756 be^G2071 as^G5618 the hypocrites:^G5273 for^G3754 they love^G5368 to stand^G2476 and pray^G4336 in^G1722 the synagogues^G4864 and^G2532 in^G1722 the corners^G1137 of the streets,^G4113 that^G3704 they^G302 may be seen^G5316 of men.^G444 Verily^G281 I say^G3004 unto you,^G3754 They have^G568 received their^G846 reward.^G3408

But^G1161 all^G3956 their^G846 works^G2041 they do^G4160 to^G4314 be seen^G2300 of men:^G444 for they make broad^G4115 their^G846 phylacteries,^G5440 and^G2532 enlarge^G3170 the borders^G2899 [of]^G2440 [their]^G846 [garments],^G2440

for^G1063 the kingdom^G932 of God^G2316 is^G2076 not^G3756 eating^G1035 and^G2532 drinking,^G4213 but^G235 righteousness^G1343 and^G2532 peace^G1515 and^G2532 joy^G5479 in^G1722 the^G4151 Holy^G40 Spirit.^G4151

and^G2532 he died^G599 for^G5228 all,^G3956 that^G2443 they^G3588 that live^G2198 should^G2198 no longer^G3371 live^G2198 unto themselves,^G1438 but^G235 unto him^G3588 who for^G5228 their^G846 sakes died^G599 and^G2532 rose again.^G1453
