So Heman, Asaph, and Ethan the singers, made a sounde with cymbales of brasse.
And Asaph was the chiefe, and nexte to him Zacharia, Ieiel, Semiramoth, Iehiel, Mathathia, Eliab, Benaia, Obed Edom, & Ieiel with instruments, psalteries, & harpes: But Asaph made a sounde with cymbales.
Foure thousande were porters, & foure thousand praysed the Lorde with such instrumentes as was made to prayse withall.
And they came to Hierusalem with psalters and harpes, & shawmes, euen vnto the house of the Lorde.
The singers go before, the minstrelles folowe after: in the myddest are the damselles playing with the timbrelles.
That whe ye heare the noyse of the cornet, trumpet, harpe, shawme, psaltries, dulcimer, and al maner of instrumentes of musicke, ye fall downe and worship that golden image that Nabuchodonozor the king hath set vp.
They sing to the sounde of the viole, they inuent to them selues instrumentes of musicke, like Dauid.
