Haue thou therefore respect vnto the prayer of thy seruaunt, and to his supplication O Lorde my God, to heare the crye and prayer which thy seruaunt prayeth before thee this day:
To the chiefe musition vpon Nehiloth, a psalme of Dauid. Geue eare vnto my wordes O God: vnderstande thou my pensifnesse.
Loke vpon the couenaunt: for darknesse of the earth hath replenisshed houses with iniquitie.
Now therefore O our God heare the prayer of thy seruaunt, and his intercession: O let thy face thine ouer thy sanctuarie that lyeth waste, for the Lordes sake.
Neuerthelesse, I pray not for them alone: but for the also, which shall beleue on me through their preachyng:
