The begynnyng of the Gospel of Iesu Christ, the sonne of God.

These thynges were done in Bethabara beyonde Iordane, where Iohn dyd baptize.

Untyll the day in which he was take vp, after that he through the holy ghost, had geuen commaundementes vnto the Apostles, whom he had chosen,

And with great power gaue the Apostles witnesse of the resurrection of the Lorde Iesu: And great grace was with them all.

Howe shall we escape, yf we neglect so great saluation? which at the first began to be preached of the Lorde, and was confirmed vnto vswarde, by them that hearde it:
