Then toke Ioseph them both, Ephraim with his ryght hande towarde Israels left hande, and Manasses with his left hande towarde Israels ryght hande, and brought them vnto hym.
The chyldren of Ioseph throughout their kinredes, were Manasse and Ephraim.
For the children of Ioseph were two tribes, Manasses and Ephraim: And therfore they gaue no parte vnto the Leuites in the land, saue cities to dwell in, with the suburbes of the same, for their beastes and cattel.
Then shouldest thou forget thy miserie, and thinke no more vpon it, then vpon the waters that runne by.
And foorthwith thou hast turned my mourning into dauncing: thou hast put of my sackcloth, and gyrded me with gladnes.
That they may drynke it, and forget their miserie and aduersitie.
Who so reioyceth vpon earth, shall reioyce in the true God, and who so sweareth vpon earth, shall sweare in the true God: for the olde afflictions shalbe forgotten, and taken away out of my sight.
