Yet men neither consider nor vnderstande, because their eyes be stopped that they can not see, and their heartes that they can not perceaue.

Euen so shall the Lorde nowe also appeare vnto me from farre and say I loue thee with an euerlasting loue, therfore by my mercie I haue drawen thee vnto me.

At that tyme Iesus aunswered and sayde: I thanke thee O father, Lorde of heauen and earth, because thou hast hid these thinges from the wise and prudent, and hast shewed them vnto babes.
