He hath hedged vp my way that I can not passe, and he hath set darkenesse in my pathes.

O Lorde, wherefore hast thou led vs out of the way? wherefore hast thou hardened our heartes that we feare thee not? Be at one with vs agayne for thy seruauntes sake, and for the generation of thyne heritage.

Therefore beholde, I wyll stop thy way with thornes, and make a hedge, that she shall not finde her pathes.
