And when he was gone foorth from thence, he sawe other two brethren, Iames, the sonne of Zebedee, & Iohn his brother, in the shippe with Zebedee their father, mendyng their nettes, and he called them.

And after sixe dayes, Iesus taketh Peter, Iames, and Iohn his brother, and bryngeth them vp into an hye mountayne, out of the way,
And he toke with him Peter, and the two sonnes of Zebedee, and began to waxe sorowfull and heauy.
And foorthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entred into the house of Simon, and Andrewe, with Iames, and Iohn.
And as he sate vpon the mount of Oliues, ouer agaynst the temple, Peter, and Iames, and Iohn, and Andrewe, asked hym, secretely:
And assoone as it was day, he called his disciples: And of them he chose twelue, whom he called Apostles:
Therfore saide the wisedome of God, I wyl sende them prophetes and apostles, and some of them they shall slaye and persecute:
And when the houre was come, he sate downe, & the twelue apostles with hym.
One of his disciples, Andrewe, Simo Peters brother, sayth vnto hym:
There was one of Iesus disciples, leanyng on Iesus bosome, euen he whom Iesus loued.
There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas which is called Didymus, and Nathanael, of Cana in Galilee, and the sonnes of Zebedee, & two other of his disciples.
The same disciple is he, which testifieth of these thynges, and wrote these thynges: And we knowe that his testimonie is true.
And they gaue foorth their lottes, & the lot fell vpon Matthias, and he was counted with the eleuen Apostles.
And he killed Iames the brother of Iohn with the sworde.
And he gaue some apostles, and some prophetes, and some euangelistes, and some shepheardes and teachers,
Peter, an Apostle of Iesus Christ, to them that dwell here and there as straungers, throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia:
That which we haue seene and heard declare we vnto you, that ye also maye haue felowship with vs, and that our felowship may be with the father, and his sonne Iesus Christe.
The elder vnto ye beloued Gaius, whom I loue in the trueth.
I Iohn, your brother and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdome and patience of Iesus Christe, was in the Ile that is called Pathmos, for ye worde of God, and for the witnessyng of Iesus Christe.
I Iohn sawe these thynges, & hearde them: And when I had hearde and seene, I fell downe to worship before the feete of the angell, which shewed me these thynges.
