For all the people that came out, were circumcised: but al the people that were borne in the wildernes by the way after they came out of Egypt were not circumcised.

They flocke together agaynst the soule of the ryghteous: and condemne the innocent blood.

The Lorde hateth as well hym that iustifieth the vngodly, as him that condempneth the innocent.

For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice: and the knowledge of God more then burnt offeringes.

Go ye, and learne what that meaneth, I wyll haue mercie, and not sacrifice: for I am not come, to call the righteous, but sinners to repentaunce.

For they that dwell at Hierusalem, and their rulers, because they knewe hym not, nor yet the voyces of the prophetes which are read euery Sabboth day, they haue fulfylled them in condempnyng hym:
