And he toke therof in his handes, and went eating, and came to his father and mother, and gaue them also, and they did eate: But he tolde not them that he had taken the hony out of the carkasse of the Lion.

And fell at his feete, and sayde: Let this iniquitie be counted myne my lord, and let thyne handmaide I praye thee speake in thyne audience, & heare the wordes of thy handmayd.

A soft aunswere appeaseth wrath: but rough wordes stirre vp anger.

A patient man is better the one strong: and he that can rule hym selfe, is more worth then he that wynneth a citie.
