And when they had receaued it, they murmured against the good man of the house,

But and yf that euyll seruaunt say in his heart, my Lorde wyll be long a commyng:

This vnderstande, that yf the good man of the house knew what houre the thiefe woulde come, he woulde surely watche, and not suffer his house to be dygged through.
