For it was ordeyned of God vnto Ochosias, that he shulde come to Ioram, & so to go forth with Ioram agaynst Iehu ye sonne of Nimsi, whom the LORDE had anoynted to rote out the house of Achab.

A man maye well purpose a thinge in his harte, but ye answere of ye tonge cometh of ye LORDE.

The LORDE ordreth euery mas goinges, for what is he, that vnderstondeth his owne wayes?

There is no wy?dome, there is no vnderstondinge, there is no councell agaynst the LORDE.

Now I knowe (o LORDE) that is not in mas power to ordre his owne waies, or to rule his owne steppes & goinges.
